I woke up and the house was silent. I looked all around and found a note on the রান্নাঘর table.
"Went with Danny to meet a friend, be back in a few hours"
Great, I thought crumpling up the piece of paper. What was I gunna do now? So I grabbed a peice of টোস্ট and headed out the door hoping not to get jumped again. I wasn't even two steps out when I saw a fight break out across the street. I ran over and saw three kids beating up this kid. I didn't know what to do. That's when I found an empty কোকাকোলা bottle lying on the ground and smashed the end off of it. I started to step closer and closer to them.
"Stop it let him go!" I yelled at them.
One of them must have saw me cuz they let go of the kid and started to walk over to me.
"What's a little girl going to do about it?" One of them ব্যক্ত to me.
"This," I ব্যক্ত running at them with the broken কোকাকোলা bottle in my hand screaming at the শীর্ষ of my lungs.
"Oh shit!" They yelled running away.
I looked at the kid who was on the ground. He was 15 অথবা 16.
"You okay?" I asked him
"Ya this ain't my first rodeo," he ব্যক্ত laughing
"Man I hate them, they jumped me yesterday," I ব্যক্ত প্রদর্শিত হচ্ছে him the scar on my back.
"Man আপনি look tough with that," he said
"Thanks, but trust me I ain't that tough." I said
"It's okay" he said
I smiled at him real sweetly. He was a really nice kid.
"I'm Ponyboy" he said
"Nice to meet আপনি Ponyboy, I'm Beka."
"After they jumped Johnny there coming after the rest of us more."
"Who's Johnny?" I questioned
"He was my best friend, got really beat up, he was small, an easy target আপনি know?"
"Ya i know what আপনি mean," I ব্যক্ত thinking about yesterday
"Wait what do আপনি mean দ্বারা he "was" আপনি best friend?" I said
"He died in the hospital after a fire," he ব্যক্ত tearing up a bit.
"Sorry 'bout আপনি friend Pony," I ব্যক্ত putting my hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay," he said
I got up and started to walk away when I herd Ponyboy shout
"Do আপনি wanna meet the gang?"
"Sure" I ব্যক্ত running torwards him

As we were walking to Pony's house he kept asking me tons of questions.
"How old are আপনি Beka?"
"12," I told him
"No way your 12!" he ব্যক্ত as his voice cracked a little
"Ya I am,"
"Can't belive a twelve বছর old saved me, I mean I'm 15 should be able to save myself দ্বারা now,"
"It's know big deal and can আপনি stop asking so many questions?" I ব্যক্ত annoyed

"Fine what is it?"
"Why would they jump a 12 বছর old girl?"
"That's what my brother said!" I exclamied telling him why I thought they jumped me.

When we reached his house we just walked in.
"Yo guys get in here I want আপনি to meet someone!" he yelled
No one came.
"Must be watchin' something good," he told me as we walked into the living room.
A bunch of guys were watchin' a Mickey মাউস cartoon.
"Didn't ya hear me?" Ponyboy ব্যক্ত grabbing the remote off the টেবিল and shutting off the T.V.
"Awwww come on Ponyboy that was my পছন্দ part!" A guy in a Mickey মাউস শার্ট whinned.
"Hey guys, this is Beka," Ponyboy ব্যক্ত introuducing me.
"Beka this is Soda, Darry, Steve,and Two-Bit."
"Hey" I ব্যক্ত sitting down on the table
I was shy because these guys looked tough, like the beat আপনি up kinda tough.
"What happened to your throat Ponyboy?" Darry asked him
Darry and Soda are his older brothers. They reminded me alot like Danny and Sherri.
"Got jumped দ্বারা them damn Socs ," he replyed
"What have I told আপনি about walking alone?"
"Sorry Darry,but Beka here saved me," he said.
"Well then ain't that nice," Darry ব্যক্ত smilling at me

"Look guys little Ponyboy's got himself a girl friend now," Soda chuckled
"Shut up Soda, she's not my girl friend!" Ponyboy ব্যক্ত punching Soda's arm
"We gonna have another rumble পরবর্তি saturday aganist them Socs, wanna যোগদান Beka?" Two-Bit asked me.
"Sure I ain't afraid to fight," I ব্যক্ত trying to act tough
"We gonna beat them Socs like we did last time," He added taking the remote from Ponyboy.
Once he turned it on his eyes were glued to the T.V.
"Wow,wow,wow, wait a sec when did we agree that we were going to fight them again?" Steve said.
"Uhhhh" he ব্যক্ত painicing,"It was Soda's idea!"
"What!? No, it was all Two-Bit's idea!" Soda ব্যক্ত suprised
"Well I was talking with one of them and they ব্যক্ত that they wanted a rematch," Two bit ব্যক্ত looking up from the T.V
"Why would they want a rematch?" Ponyboy asked Two-Bit
"Because Dally was there and he wasn't suppose to be cuz he was in the hospital."
"That shouldn't matter though!" Ponyboy ব্যক্ত puzzled
"It does little bro,It matters because he was the toughest and they don't think it was fair so thay want a rematch. Now stop asking so many questions!" Darry said
"I have to go home, my foks might be wondering where i am," I ব্যক্ত heading for the door.
"Okay i'll walk আপনি home," Ponyboy ব্যক্ত walking behind me
"Bye Beka," Soda ব্যক্ত punching my arm then russling my hair.
We walked out the door and Ponyboy asked,
"Wanna be a part of the gang?"
"Sure, I'd প্রণয় to," I said
And with that we walked back to my house
