“Hey, Katie-Kat. I got you.” He picks up the crying new born.

It must have been about two in the morning, and the baby had been crying off and on again for hours.

“Hey baby girl, I got you. I got you.” He says, holding her up to his chest and rocking back and forth. “We’re all good. We’re all good.”

He walks around the room a few minutes, bouncing the baby up and down till she stops crying, and slowly starts to fall back asleep.

“Katherine Jane Winston,” he muttered, looking at his half asleep daughter. “You’re going to be so beautiful one day. আপনি know that? I’ll do anything for you. Anything আপনি need. Your daddy’s right here. And so is your big brother, and your mommy. But most of all I’m here, and I got you.” He smiles.

The baby snores softly, but he doesn’t want to put her down. He’s in love.

“What are আপনি guys doing?” আপনি ask, kinda weirded out at Soda and Steve.

“Having a staring contest.” Soda says intensely.

“Umm… Ok?” আপনি say.

“It’s all part of the epic battle of who gets to ask আপনি out.” Steve says.

“What the hell, man!” Soda yelled, and slapped Steve’s arm.

“Owww.” Steve says, looking down to examine his arm.

“Haha yes, I win!” Soda laughs.

“Not fair man!” Steve yells.

They start going after each other.

Oh god.
