I don't think it was fair, but it was partly his idea too. But Kol shouldn't have blamed it all on Damon. You are right, it was Matt who killed Finn, but I think if Kol could see Matt again he would kill him, unlike he did to Damon. If Kol really wanted Damon dead, he would have killed him.

it wasn't ONLY his idea it was stefan's too in FACT "saint" stefan is the one who PLANDED it not damon, damon was too busy being tortured to do anyting so techincally it's PARTLY stefan's idea not damon's at all

In Kol's eyes Damon is part of the group who planned it all. Damon may not have killed Finn himself but he was one of the people who planned it. That's why Kol took it out on him.

I'm sure he would've said the same to Matt or Stefan. Honestly it was a group effort, and Damon's a BIG part of the group. I think it was absolutely fair. :/ Not singling him out or anything, but...he was conveniently around! :/

Of course, but he shouldn't be the only one. It does not matter if Damon wasn't there, because the stake used to kill Kol came from the Wickery Bridge sign that Damon managed to save and he is part of the Group, who helped to set it all up, so yes he did have a hand in it. The group all have blood on their hands, with Kol's murder, except Bonnie if I remember correctly.

Even though he can be a pain in the butt sometimes, I don't think Damon should be blamed for something he didn't do...
