No only because I in a way saw it coming, let me explain before I get মতামত and have to explain in the furture, Elijah may have প্রদত্ত his word and did intend to kill klaus for revenge, to save his life Klaus told him something that he needed to hear to survive. I think that Elijah will evenually come around and help kill klaus after he finds out the truth about his family. Also I see them like Damon and Stefan they hate eachother and will fight eachother but not kill eachother. I am ready to answer any মতামত and questions.
