lol! I guess you just found an easy way to see what kinds of shows interest me.
I can credit my local PBS station for getting me hooked on a bunch of British / other shows from abroad, as well as period dramas. I have yet to watch some of these from the start. I don't have cable either, but my daughter and grandkids got me started (and hooked) on some of these.
I also have a really tight / sometimes non-existent budget, so I always have to look for deals. Most of the sets were bought "used" - a few for as little as $.99 per season. Being cooped up in my flat all the time, free network TV, and my movie, music and TV show collection are my only sources of entertainment / escapism. Outside of that, there's only Snickers and the internet.

You always have me dear friend *lol* !!! I have had other collections but sold a lot of them *lol* so I know what you mean about the budget <333

...and I am ever so thankful for that! 😊 The sad part is, without the internet, we never would've had that. You're also not the only one who's had to sell off some of their collection. In the past, I did that with a ton of my VHS tapes, and out of real desperation, a fairly large part of my LPs (record albums) and other collectible items.

That's cool that you have Merlin in its entirety.👍 I got to see and handful of episodes on free network TV a number of years ago, thinking it was just going to be a mini-series. Needless to say, I got hooked, but then they discontinued airing it. I guess it must have been kind of a teaser for cable. In any case, it's taken me several years to acquire the entire series on DVD, but I finally have it. I wanted to watch it in its proper airing order, but that's not the way I was able to afford it, so now I just have to find the time to watch it.
I also love Doctor Who, but I guess you can tell that already. I'd like to get more of that series too, but I think I'm pretty luck to own as much as I do. Have you watched any of the older original Doctor Who series? Many years ago, I first saw some of the 4th Doctor on my local PBS station. Then over the past several years I caught some of the 10th, 11th + 12th Doctors (through series 8). Last year instead of airing series 9, they started airing the 3rd Doctor (Pertwee), and right now they're airing reruns of 4th Doctor (Baker) on Saturday nights. I missed the 1st episode of that, but I'm trying to catch whatever they air now of the 4th Doctor.
I also loved Sleepy Hollow - wish it wouldn't have ended. 😪 Eventually, I hope to acquire the rest of that too.
And it would be nice to get The Munsters too. I have a couple of the movies, but I think the show was more fun to watch - and single episodes are much easier to cram into a day. lol!
I guess aside from The Flash and the shows already mentioned, your other shows I'm totally clueless about. From the title Being Human, I suspect it might be something paranormal related, so that would probably be of interest to me.

I saw some episodes of the 4th Doctor with Bake on youtube. I've seen 10, 11 and 12 Doctor on BBC America channel. The Flash is a series based off the DC comic The Flash. I think you would like it. Correct Being Human U.K. is a paranormal series which has a friendship between a ghost, vampire and warewolf. If you have Netflix's you can watch the Being Human U.K. season 1-5. If you like the Irish actor Aidan Turner he's in the series. I really like your collection. Are you currently collecting any new series? On ABC network on Monday's they show a new series called The Good Doctor about a man who is autistic also a briliant surgeon and it's played by British actor Freddie Highmoore. So far they shown 4 episodes but, it's an interesting series. Thank you :)

Pretty much all of the British series that I'm hooked on is thanks to my local PBS station. They air an amazing selection here. Thanks for letting me know about Being Human U.K. - definitely sounds like something I might want to try to get my paws on. And, oh yes - I'm familiar with Aidan, but from his performance as Poldark. 😋 lol! As for The Flash, I've been following that since it started, as well as Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. I've seen ads for The Good Doctor, but right now I'm trying not to get hooked on any more new shows. I've already got a problem trying to keep up with the ones I follow and the ones I own. And no wonder the doctor's face looked familiar in the ads - used seeing to him in Bates Motel. I know he was in the Harry Potter films too, and I do have some of them, but I have yet to watch my first HP movie. ...told you I had a problem keeping up. lol!
