Timothy’s P.O.V.

I awoke dizzily in a brightly lit white room. The curtains were draped neatly and the টেলিভিশন was on with a very low, monotoned and barely audible level.
Danny sat in the chair পরবর্তি to the window. He was looking out into the bright daylight sky. His face looked very pale and worn in the sunlight. I hadn’t even noticed his very sudden rapid weight loss. He looked so…thin.
The environment I was in finally dawned on me. I was in a hospital bed. I shifted in my বিছানা very loudly, which caused Danny to shoot his head in my direction.
“You’re awake. How are আপনি feeling?” He looked different. Not as cheerful as he normally is. As a matter of fact, he looked very frustrated and obviously tired.
“Uh…” I muttered, “I feel fine…”
He slowly approached my বিছানা and grabbed my hand. “Timothy…I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that Eli made it through her…incident…”
My memory struck me like a lightning bolt. Eli had attempted to commit suicide…That’s what we were here for! Then…Why was I in a hospital bed?
Danny’s facial expression went blank. “And the bad news is…Well…I have actually two things of bad news. First off…You have pneumonia. We just need আপনি to get a shot…The সেকেন্ড bad news…” his voice trailed off very sadly and he began to cry. “Eli jumped off of her roof…Her fucking roof. And they won’t let me see her.”
I had to be having a nightmare. There was no way that Danny was serious. I can’t believe Eli tried to commit suicide…I just really couldn’t believe it. Was her life THAT bad that she wanted to end it? I had to talk to her. She worried me sometimes with her constant mood-swings. “Can আপনি see if they would let me see her?”
“Sure. She is in the ‘psycho’ ward. Luckily, all that was broken was her arm. It could have been worse.”
He is right. It could have been worse. She could have actually died.
Danny called in the nurse and she appeared immediately. “Yes? What do আপনি need?”
Something about her seemed very familiar.
“Is there any way I can go see my friend? Please? It is very dire. She means a lot to me and I just really need to talk to her.”
The nurse scanned my face thoroughly. “Alright. I’m glad to take আপনি to her. What is her name and where about in the hospital is she at?”
“Her name is Elida Bellamy. She is in the…um… ‘psycho’ ward.” Danny said, quickly.
“The one who just almost committed suicide?”
Danny’s started tearing up again. “Yeah…”
She helped me out of my বিছানা and walked me to a wheelchair.
When we got to where Eli was at, she was talking to the girl in the room with her.
The girl with Eli was about Eli’s age. Maybe a বছর older. She had blonde hair and striking icy blue eyes. Her face looked very tired and sad, but somehow, looking at Eli, she looked very happy.
Eli turned her head around as she saw Danny and I enter. “Timothy! Danny!”
Danny wheeled me over to Eli and I hugged her. “Eli,” I said, after releasing her, “I am so glad আপনি are still alive. I can’t believe I almost হারিয়ে গেছে you.”
She looked sorrowfully at me. “Yeah…I know. It won’t happen again…I can promise আপনি that. Um…” she looked over at the girl, “this is my new friend. Her name is Bri.”
“Hello, Bri.” Danny said, examining the girl’s face. “It’s very nice to meet you. I am Danny and this is my fiancé Timothy. I hope that doesn’t bother you.”
Bri shook her head. “That doesn’t bother me at all. I can tell আপনি প্রণয় each other. I myself am a lesbian, so…It really doesn’t bother me.”
I turned to Eli. She was blushing very bright red.
The nurse tapped Danny’s shoulder. “We need to give Timothy his shot now…”
Danny nodded his head. “Yes. Alright. Timothy, we have to go. We can talk to her after আপনি get your shot.”
“Okay. See আপনি later Breli…I mean…Bri and Eli.”
Eli smiled at watched me be wheeled out the door.
I got back to my room and rolled up my sleeve. “Alright,” I ব্যক্ত to the nurse, “I’m ready.”
She chuckled. “Oh…It doesn’t go in your arm.”
“Then where does…it…go…”
Danny roared with laughter. “Oh, আপনি poor thing!!”
My face lit up with red. “My…butt?”
The nurse nodded. “Yeah, I’m sorry. I’m going to give it to আপনি myself.”
Danny shot his head at her. “I’m staying with him. Timothy, I’m going to hold your hand.”
“What?! But-But আপনি hate needles!”
“I’m not getting the shot, so, I should be fine. আপনি just worry about your cute little butt c:.”
There went the blushing again. Ugh. I pulled my pants down and hid my face. This was so embarrassing.
“Timothy?” Danny whispered in my ear, “I can’t wait until আপনি get better. I miss holding আপনি close to me. I miss all of those days where we would walk around and forget about everyone and everything. At least, after this is over, can we go back to those times?”
Tears formed in my eyes. Not from the shot that I was receiving, but from Danny’s words. I missed being with him every সেকেন্ড of everyday. All that came to us right now was tragedy. Hopefully all of this would be over soon. We could be the only Danny and Timothy that everyone remembered. It would mean everything to both of us. And honestly, after we were wed, I want a kid. I want to adopt a kid.
The nurse walked out. I pulled my pants back up.
I nodded my head slowly. “I would প্রণয় that, Daniel.”
He smiled and kissed my face very sweetly. “Thank you, Timothy. I প্রণয় আপনি so much.”
“To infinity and beyond?”
Danny smiled again with his cute Danny smile. “Yes. Beyond infinity.
