This is the সেকেন্ড book to my first short story "As the sun sets" This is a story about the life of Renesmee Carlie Cullen ( In her POV with some exceptions) now that she is a teenager!

I suggest পাঠ করা my first book (as the sun sets), so আপনি can better understand this one (Daylight) This will take place just where we left off in the first novel!

Chapter 5: Nothing To Miss.

I awoke early the following morning. I unwrapped myself from Jacob, careful not to wake him.

I tiptoed quietly to the সাজঘর and took a shower. After getting all my hygene out of the way, I decided to look around the room. The paintings specificly. I was told that every painting tells a story - And every story has a painting.

I walked around the room - looking at the paintings. But there was one that jumped out at me - And im not quite sure why.. I approched it curiously. It was a picture of a vampire - But she was quite young. Not young enough to be a young one, but maybe a little older then Jane অথবা Alec.

There was somthing about her - somthing that seemed so familiar. He deep red eyes were in contrast to her dark hair- standing out. Her pale white skin glowed against the snowy backround, just a shade lighter then the snow itself. But there was somthing about the girl.

She wasn't like most of the paintings I had seen of vampires. Usualy they stand tall - confident. But she was different. She was আরো reserved - frightened even. Scared - anxious. I wondered if it was just they way she was painted, অথবা if it meant somthing.

I was so absorbed with her, I hadn't noticed the other ভ্যাম্পায়ার in the picture. There were so many - 10, maybe 15. And even with those numbers she seemed afraid. But not for them, she was afraid of them. And She was obviously a newborn.

I searched for a শিরোনাম - yet it didn't explain much. All that was labled was Victoria.

That could be anything, Was that the girl's name? অথবা was it a place..Maybe there was no use trying to figure out. But I knew this would be one that wont leave my mind..

The morning sun was just breaking through as I finished getting ready. I wandered back into the সাজঘর and bunched my hair up into a bun. Although somthing wasn't right - the morning silence was momentairly filled with an eerie background noise.

Curious, I stepped out of the সাজঘর to listen better. Then th sound became আরো clear - It was the sound of crying. This was quite unusual for aaround here - really nbody other then myself had tears to cry..Then it hit me; Elisabeth!

Turning off the light, I quickly made my way across the room to her door. This entrance seemed আরো covienent then before.. I walked down the long hallway into the opening. Just as I did the cries halted, only replaced দ্বারা silent sobs.

When i got to her room - She was nowhere to be found. The middle of the room was occupied দ্বারা a fallen lamp, along with a large amount of broken glass scattered about.

Panic ran through me - Parylizing me for a moment. I walked further into the room , stepping over the glass - Yet there was still no sight of her.

"Elisabeth?" I called looking around, But there was no response - Only silent sobs.

I looked around, turning to my right. And sure enough there she sat tucked behind her toybox. Was she hiding? Her back was faced towards me - her long blonde hair covering her face.

"Elisabeth!" I exclaimed letting out a sigh of relife.

But she still didn't সরানো - She only sat there sobbing again. Was she hurt? I felt my হৃদয় accelerate as I considered the idea. I swiftly walked towards her, kneeling down beside.

"Are আপনি alright?" I asked worried.

I carefully brushed her golden strands away from her face, then I noticed the blood. My হৃদয় sped up. As her sobbing grew, she rubbed her eyes.

Thats when I noticed the blood was coming from her hand!

She must have knocked over the lamp and hurt herself. She rubbed her teary eyes with her hands again - staring up at me. Before I knew it her arms were wrapped around my neck as she cried.

"I-Im Sorry!" She sobbed, embracing me. "I-I-I didn't mean to"

I rubbed my hand against her back, soothing her.

"It's quite alright, it was an accident - Why don't we get আপনি cleaned up?"

She nodded once while sobbing into my shoulder. Poor girl - she must be so scared. This is the last place yo want to bleed - And she knows it.

I picked her up and carefully carried her back to my room. I figured Jacob would be awake - So her sobbing wouldn't distrupt anything.

As I carried her In I saw him jump to his feet.

"What happened, Nessie?!" He asked anxiously noticing the blood.

I carried her to the সাজঘর - Jacob followed close-by.

"She just had a little accident" I assured him, placing her down on the counter. I looked at her nurvously, hoping nobody would catch the scent an get.. curious.

I Carefully picked up her hand an examined it. There wasn't too much glass in the wound, a few small peices. Her cries were only silenced sobs now as she watched me.

I turned to get the first aid kit - but it seemed as if Jacob had already tooken care of that. He held his arm arund handing it to me.

"Thanks" I ব্যক্ত as I put it down on the counter.

Wetting a cloth with warm water, I softly wahed away the blood from her hands, arms, and face. I picked up her hand again and started to carefully pull out the small peices of glass with tweezers. She winced the first few times - but then became used to it.

"I'm sorry" She ব্যক্ত again as I pulled out the last peice of glass.

I picked up a disinfecting wipe and started to clean the wound. I smiled;

"Elisbeth, It's alright. Accidents happen"

She was silent for a moment, shaking lightly as if she was scared.

"What if jane finds out?" her voice shook as she spoke.

I froze for a moment - Jacob and I exchanged quick glances. What had they done to this girl?

" Nobody can hurt আপনি anymore" Jacob assured her.

she nodded once and seemed a bit less nervous. But i could tell the idea still frightened her. A knock on the door sounded though the room. I handed a bandage to Jacob;

"You know how to-"

He rolled his eyes and laughed. "Oh please Renesmee - your the most accident prone person I know. I could get a degree from all the times I treated you"

I smiled and shook my head as I left to answer the door. Another knock sounded just before I got to it. I swung the door open and noticed Maria standing there. She smiled at me, her bright teeth gleaming in contrast to her tan skin.

Before I could respond her smile faded and turned into a horrified gasp. She stard at my hands. I was perplexed until I looked down - They were covered in blood. I looked back up at her.

"Oh, no. Everything is fine! Elisabeth just had a bit of an accident. Jacob is helping her now.."

She smiled 'Oh, sorry. Well I was sent up to clean the rooms"

"Hmm, Were fine - but Elisabeths room.."

She nodded once "Of course Miss Cu - er I mean Renesmee"

She left to go tidy up the room. I closed the door behind me and went into the সাজঘর to clean up my hands. As I walked in, Jacob lifted Elisabeth off the counter and patted her head.

"There আপনি go" He ব্যক্ত smiling

She giggled and ran off back into her room to play.

"Should I go keep an eye on her?" he suggested

"If আপনি dont mind" I ব্যক্ত smiling

He kissed my forhead- "Ill see আপনি in a minute?"

I nodded as he left to go watch Elisabeth while I cleaned up.

Before I could another knock at the door echoed through the room. I turned back around and opened it once more. But to my surprise - Alec stood there.

I paused for a moment as he stared at me with the same look he had প্রদত্ত back in the field. We both held there for a moment as I looked into his bloodred eyes. Igazed down breaking the moment.

"Um, Come in" I said, opening the door a bit
wider for him to enter.

As I did he stood there, very still. He had a horrorstruck look planted on his face as he stare down at me. Confused, I followed hos gaze, until
I realised what had scared him; My hands were still bloodied from Elisabeth. Darn! I almost forgot, I looked bak up at him;

"Oh, Im so sorry alec! Hold on a minute..'

I rushed to the sink to clean off my hands - but before I could Alec grabbed a hold of them, keeping me still. I was worried now, Oh no. This is never going to end well..I felt my হৃদয় accelerate as he inched closer to the blood.

"Renesmee!" He gasped "Are আপনি alright?"

That was the moment I realised the gesture wasn't supposed to be intimadting অথবা frightening - He was examining my hands. He was worried about me..

I took a step back, gaining some distance.

"Isn't this uncomfortable for you?" I asked dazed দ্বারা his control.

If it were any other Vampire, at this close proximity - I wouldn't be alive right now. He watched me carefully as he spoke.

"You - আপনি didn't answer my question" His voice was a bit on edge - his hands outstreched again.

Alec followed as I started walking towards the sink to wash off the blood. I turned the tap on;

"Yes, yes. I'm fine - It's Elisabeth's blood, not mine. She cut herself on somthing - But she is alright now.."

He let out a small sigh of relife. I dried my hands off and turned around.

"But আপনি havn't answered my প্রশ্ন - How did আপনি control yourself like that?"

He queitly looked down, shyly.

"I guess all the time we spent together made me more...... tolerant.'' He looked back up, catching my gaze. "I miss that, I miss you." He whispered.

His crimsion red eyes were sincere. I bit my lip anxiosly, where was Jacob when আপনি needed him? Alec stood only inches infront of me - Too close. I closed my eyes - Taking a breathe.

"There was nothing to miss..." I ব্যক্ত quietly, voice breaking at the end.

I swiftly moved around him, yet he placed himself infront of me once more.

"Don't say that, Renesmee" He whispered "You know that's not true.."

I stared at his pleading eyes for a moment. "Alec. There's isn't a moment when I dont want Jacob. I প্রণয় him."

"Well, that may be true" He ব্যক্ত as I turned to walk into Elisabeth's room. "But আপনি প্রণয় me too!" Alec called.

I stopped walking.

"You just don't know it yet.." He added slyly.

Who does he think he is? Almost murdering me, then telling me who I do and dont love! Unbeliveable! I turned to face him;

"Listen, I প্রণয় Jacob. Ill always প্রণয় him - only him." I ব্যক্ত firmly.

He tightened his jaw a moment, staring at me. "Renesmee, he isn't good for you! He's too dangerous for you!"

My jaw dropped, "Jacob too dangerous for me? Your too dangerous for me!"

" I would never hurt you!" He said, offended.

"..Says the person who almost killed me.." I mumbled.

"You know that was an accident.." He spat through his teeth.

"Do I?" I challenged.

"That's not fair.."

"Hasn't anyone ever told আপনি Alec, Life isn't fair!"

He smirked "Well then good thing I'm not alive.."

"Ugh!" I threw my arms up in exhasperation. I turned to leave again - But he spun me back around - Holding my hand.

"Renesmee - I really do প্রণয় you. And I spent everynight regretting what I did - Hating myself. I still do. I'd gladly die for আপনি and wouldn't think twice about it. And I know I dont deserve আপনি - at all. But i'm begging আপনি just please, please give me a chance.."

I stared wide eyed at Alec as he spoke. I couldn't beilive what I just heard - I didn't want to hear what I just heard. But I প্রণয় Jacob - and I most definietly dont প্রণয় Alec....
