Chapter Five ( writers block strikes again =[)

Everyone seemed to know. Jake swore he hadn’t told anyone, but news spread like wild আগুন in La Push. It started off as just gossiping, but had soon escalated to taunting. Leah had conveniently ditched us, but Quil, Jake and Seth stupidly stood দ্বারা me. I was surprised; they seemed to pick on Jake just as much as me. But Jake took it all in his stride, standing up for me, even though the আরো he stood up for me the আরো they taunted him. I couldn’t ভালুক it. My বন্ধু were sharing my punishment for being illegitimate, for no reason. They were being taunted and hurt দ্বারা others too, for no reason. Quil tried not to stir up too much trouble; he was already on the principles hit list. He just stood quietly behind me when someone had a go at me, but Seth and Jake went out of their way to defend me, seeing as I wasn’t going to do it myself. I even heard Seth snarl at a group of girls from his year. That made me so angry; he would never get any বন্ধু অথবা imprint if he was just going to snarl and be hostile to everyone. All of them should just leave a loser like me.
I walked প্রথমপাতা alone. Jake had wanted to drive me back, but I couldn’t stand to be with him. I didn’t want to be anyone. I felt angry, তিক্ত and unwanted. That was a relief, no আরো sadness. So I let the anger flow threw me and take over each cell in my body. That felt good.
“Embry, Embry!” Seth caught my arm. I hadn’t even heard him walking up behind me.
“What is it Seth?” I growled, and then felt bad. He was only trying to help.
“Just face it Seth. He doesn’t want our help.” Leah snapped from behind me. She was reviling in my pain. Now she wasn’t the one who was the most hurt she intended to keep it that way.
“Embry I just wanted to ask I could come over and help আপনি with your dirt bike?” Seth asked hopefully.
I grinned at the idea of riding my dirt bike again. “Sure Seth. Come over as early as আপনি can!”
I heard Leah sniff behind me. I rolled my eyes, and added grudgingly “You can come too Leah… if আপনি want?”
She laughed, so I took that as a no.
Luckily the house was empty when I got back. Well, probably lucky. I had a good idea where my mom was. She was probably up at Billy’s; she probably didn’t even come back last night. Well good, I thought she can go piss him off. I knew I would have to go over to Jakes to get a bike for Seth. I sighed and went to get my dirt bike out of the garage.
I rounded the corner of the house and my mouth fell open. A little red bike was leaning up against the wall, with blue ribbon tied on the handlebars. There was a note too. I ripped it off the seat, where it was stuck with tape, and attempted to read it.
“Th-o-u-ght…thought আপনি might want this.” I read aloud, sounding out each word. “Don’t get mad at Seth. He really wanted to come anyway. Jake.” I sniggered crumpling the letter into a ball.

I’d just located a sponge when Seth knocked on the front door. I set Seth to work washing my bike, while I checked that Bella’s bike still worked. Jake had kept it in pristine condition for her. My bike was soon as perfectly shiny as Bella’s. Seth ব্যক্ত he wanted ride Bella’s bike, so I helped him with the basics. He picked it up really quickly, so I suggested that we rode them up to the cliffs.
It was nice to be on my bike again. I felt like my worries had been left in my garage, as we sped past the cliffs where I’d done cliff diving with Sam. We found the little dust road where most beginners rode. And that was where we met Samantha Kirk.
