I can't picture Edward as I once did, but the others (not including Bella who I never really pictured) I mostly can. I'm fine with that though.

I think of them as two completely different things.
There's Rob and Kristen, and then there is Edward and Bella. Two completely different couples, that share the same passionate love and same conflict, but are two completely different things.
That way, it's easy to imagine them the way I thought of them.
The only characters I can't imagine anymore is Jasper and Emmett... it sucks.

When I was reading Breaking dawn I pictured Edward as Gaspard Ulliel, Jake as steven Strait and Bella as Emily Browning ^_^ The rest of the characters I made up like when I was reading Twilight.

I agree with leuron. I knew who everyone was when i first read the books, so i pretty much picture all the actors/actress in the book.

i do the same thing as 1treehillfan with the whole separating bella and edward from rob and kristen. and the edward and bella i pictured in my head wasn't made after anyone in particular, so i think that's made it easier for me to separate them from the movie version.

I never really pictured anyone anyways. I started reading them back during Spring Break and was told who was playing who after I read the first book. Since I really didn't picture anyone at all, I was fine with who they had picked for Edward and Bella. And once Amy Howe pictures came out, I was ECSTATIC who they had chosen. Ah, that smile of his when wearing those sun glasses, is burned into my memory. x)

Its good because some of the actors and actresses they have picked are how i pictured them but the others i can still see them how i did before :]

haha, i still remember how i picture some of the characters.
like i always imagined rob as edward because i already knew he was playing it when i started reading the books.
and bella well at first i didnt like kristen but i grew to like her
and jacob i imagined more like steven strait not taylor lautner
and alice i imagined her kind of like her character.
i imagined emmett bigger?
and jasper well idk, i never really imagined him at all.
and rosalie i imagined her prettier.
carlisle is like an exact match, and renee too.
but charlie could do without the big mustache.
esmes a good character, i didnt really picture her either.

I still think of them the way I did, but sort of blend with the actors...it's annoying

well istarted twilight the book about 3 months people started to hear about the movie, got to see the first trailor so i saw them like the actors

I read the books after I saw Twilight so I had no such problem =] my characters already had faces.

Not really, because I had pictured Edward kinda ugly in the books, and then the films came! He was superugly!! :D
