Ummm... I thought that it was rather strange for Edward to call Jacob 'son'... :S I don't really feel touched at all. Just a little taken aback... And that line was kinda cliche in a way.

Hello? He knows that Nessie and Jacob are going to be together forever...how can he not think of him as his son? That is my favorite line out of the whole series.

I have to agree with rachaelwsz, I found it a bit strange hearing Edward call Jacob 'son'. But I still thought it was sweet that Edward was being affectionate to him despite all the rivalry between them.

but then Edward's age can even be granddad X5 so itz not weird to call him son and yes nessie is going to get together w/ him also,, but then it IS abit weird too coz first they were fighting for bella n they re like enemy/friend* im not sure if i can say theyre friend too :P

I loved this because it just proved that everything was behind them - and that edward approves of Jacob to be with renesmee, and in fact Edward actually cares about jacob. Edward is amazing lol =]
