be truthful! i want accurate results.

personally, i would rather not have them make a movie. i mean, the people who just see the movie and not read the books won't know the true story and then if they do read it, they'll have the actors faces in their minds when the characters are explained. i'm only thinking of non-twilight fans here, lol

I think it would be nice. To me it's a great thing that the storyline is good enough for the bigscreen of Hollywood, and that in itself is really amazing,and i cant wait to see it =D

I agree with VampireGirl about the people who just see the movie and not read the books. Already people that I've tried to persuade in reading the Twilight series have said "Oh I just wanna see the movie" and it hasn't even come out yet! I understand some people are just like that but it makes me mad especially when I'm in love with such awesome books like Harry Potter and the Twilight series and they'd just rather watch the movie.
However, FOR ME I am sooo excited for the movie and I'm glad they're making one. I hold high expectations for it, but not in comparison to the book. I've learned from past book-to-movie adaptations what to expect and what not to expect. I know that if I go into the theather wanting the scenes to play out exactly how I imagined them in my head, I won't like the movie. Of course I'll be dissapointed when they change things, but in terms of a movie, I think it'll be amazing and I really want to see how they use special effects for the vampire glittering in the sun thing. I hope it's pretty.

i dont think they will be able to bring the true brilliance that the books are, but the actors they have playing the characters are great and i think i i try and detach myself from the book it will be good, i am worried though that they will ruin the book

I don't want them to make it, because robert paterson is going to mess up my view of edward. Now when I read it he is going to look like a british guy on drugs with big black eyebrows and ugly hair! O how i'm I ever going to read the book now. but yeah i think there sould be a movie but with better actors. I like the actors of bella, Carisle, alice, jasper, esme, jacob, and emmett but rosalie and edward omg there so not them!

I don't think there's anything wrong with fans springing out of the movies. That's what happened with me and Harry Potter. I saw the first three movies first and then grew interested and started reading the books. I ended up being a fanatic! XD

We as fans just need to keep in mind that the books and the movie(s) are like different animals. You need to be able to enjoy the movies without having to compare it to the books all the time. It's not easy, but doable. Might as well enjoy them both right?

hmm i thought the idea of it at first would ruin my view of the book but as the film progressed more it has grown on me and i cant wait for it to come out!!! i come in here like every day and other websites to see if there are new updates!
well the actors i think are brilliant...
but one thing i got a wee bit of a problem is the fact that they some of the cars wrong...
im a car fan so...

first of all the volvo... that was wrong... it was a volvo s60 a saloon car.. but they changed it to a volvo c30... that wasnt a problem as i love that car but it raised a problem... how does everyone get in??? its a 4 seater so where does edwards family sit? but hte biggest mistake was they changed rosalies car from being a BMW m3 which i love... (it was even mentioned in the book..) to a merc clk class... i dont personally like fake like merc sports cars so i was pretty disappointed...
lol probably boring all of you...

I think it's great that they're making a movie because we can finally see on the screen our faveourite scenes like the meadow :) Im soooo excited :)

I think they'll do a good job with the film. They'll never be able to get the Cullens right as nobody is that beautiful and they've got Bella and Jacob wrong because they seem to fragile and not funny enough. Still, it might bring a new dimension to the story and I'm still excited, even though I know I'll hate it no matter what as they'll never capture the true essence of the books.

I am truly excited for the movie but i know it can not compare to the books so i will try my headest to not compare the two because i know that they are going to be different. :]

Honestly....I wish they would have left it alone until the LAST book was out. I don't really think its fair...its turning in to a Harry Potter thing...and now people will picture everyone as what tha actors look like now what is written.

i mean will it matter if EVERYONE else will picture the characters like that.. a book is a personal thing... to everyone the book is different your mind works differently thus you see the world of the book in a different way to to others...

I am totally phsyced! I totally screamed my head off when I found that they were making a movie!!!! i don't know why everyone is like it's gonna suck!! If you don't like it just go back to what you remember before the movie!!! It's that simple!!! =)
