Something that people often worry about is fitting in. In order to fit in with the crowd, people are expected to behave normally. However, what does being normal truly mean? There is no definitive answer to what being normal is. Depending on the person and circumstances, what's considered normal can have a large variety of different meanings.
People are expected to be what's considered normal, but should they? Should people fit into certain patterns? Should people just try to be like everyone else? I believe that each person should be their own unique person.
Being normal is something that I've never been an expert at. Ever since I was little, I've had very strange habits and opinions that wouldn't classify as being normal. I have often feared that I'm too weird. I was afraid that I wouldn't be accepted for who I am, because I was so different from everyone else.
There was a time where I let my fear of being judged stop me from following my passion. I wanted to write sweet stories about a girl getting a crush on another girl. However, I was afraid that if I wrote those type of stories, people would make assumptions about me and make me feel insecure. However, I was so passionate about my desire to write that I eventually got the courage to write the type of stories that I wanted to write. After deciding to write what I wanted to write, I went on to write several stories about the sorts of things that meant a lot to me.
When it comes to behaving how আপনি want and doing what আপনি want, I have this to ask:
Does your behavior harm yourself অথবা others?
Does your passions and/or hobbies harm yourself অথবা others?
If your behavior and actions don't harm anybody, then I believe that আপনি should be allowed to be as unique, special and different as আপনি want to be.
Some people put too much thought into being like everybody else. Deep down, being like everyone else isn't what matters. What matters is doing what's right. If nobody else is doing what they should be doing, আপনি shouldn't follow their example. Instead, আপনি should be the one person that does what's right. If others think that you're weird for doing the right thing, that's their problem.
Being normal and being the same as everyone else are overrated concepts. Being unique is a wonderful thing.
