Do আপনি know if আপনি can leave the wii u gamepad on the charger even if it 's already charged until your ready to use it?

I was thinking about doing this while I go to school. I just plug it in in the morning and when I get প্রথমপাতা & I'm done with Homework I can just play it for a couple of hours. Will it ruin the battery life for leaving it in almost all day? Please Answer! I'm just curious that's all. :p
