As McKenna and I board the bus, we sit পরবর্তি to each other in the front. "Hey, I've heard of this song!" I মতামত on the song that's playing in the background. "...Sippin sizzurp in my ride, like Three 6, Now I'm feelin so fly like a G6..." "Yeah...sure...whatever..." McKenna responds to me with her eyes locked on her yellow and black cell phone. "What's up?" I ask. "Nothing!" She shuts her cell phone like she's hiding স্বর্ণ from a bank. My cell phone ring-tone sounds. "I can't stop my feet from dancin' to the sound of his drum. I fell in প্রণয় with my Rooock god!" I press the "Answer" button on my keyboard. "Hello?" "Bree, I'm gonna need আপনি to do me favor. It's Dustin." I smile. I'll do anything for my brother. "Yeah, what's up?" "When আপনি get home, find a stapler and put it in my room. I হারিয়ে গেছে mine. Ok?" "Sure!" "Good. When do আপনি get back from scho-" I hear a CRASH on the phone. "Dustin? Dustin?!?" Beep, beep, beep... "What happened?" McKenna asks. "Something's wrong. I heard a crash on the phone when Dustin was in the middle of talking to me." McKenna's eyes widen.
The bus comes to a stop and I get off as quickly as I can. I see my mom's blue অগ্রদূত pull in the driveway. She gets off and runs towards me. "Oh! Dear! Are আপনি alright?" "Yeah I'm fine?" My mom hugs me. "You're brother isn't. He's in the hospital. Drop your backpack in the living room and get in the van. I run into the house and throw my backpack on the beige couch.
When we arrive at the Waconia Hospital, my mother looks like she's going to have a heart-attack. Poor mom... We enter the hospital lobby and my mother talks to the nurse. "...Yes he's in room, 119." The brown-haired nurse informs my mother. She grabs my hand and runs to room 119. I can't believe my eyes. "Dustin!" I run towards him. "He's really broken up isn't he?" My mom tries to hold back her tears. "I'm so sorry, Dustin. I should have just hung up." Tears run down my cheeks.

There’s the shadow of a plane
The sound of an engine,
Flying in the rain.
Please, take me away.
Raise my hands to
Touch the sky.
Wish I could fly to the moon,
Maybe tonight.
Feet glued to the street,
I just have to
Reach.
Hey,
Hey, I just heard a plane
Fly over my place
Please, say that magic word
And take me far away?
This is just a short poem, inspired দ্বারা Erin McCarley's song, "Bobble Head". I find working from songs a good way to cure my writer's block. It gives me a little push in the right direction. So if you're having trouble, try that :)
