She banged her fists against the door. This demon is dead. She turned her head to look around at the war still raging behind her. It seemed to be calming down some, but not with enough time to get to Devin. Unless....
“Terror!”
He nodded in reply to her urgent shout. Finally. This will be fun. He watched Becca turn her head, eyes closed. He smirked evilly as black smoke came from his mouth. His eyes turned black and his body morphed. আগুন ignited on him, covering everywhere but his face and feet. His hands turned into giant, fur-less paws. His body shifted and he was on all fours. But he stood taller than the rest. He let out a demonic, echoing roar; a challenge to all who dared.
Staring at the giant hell-hound, it was obvious who would win. But it wasn't through yet. He opened his mouth, letting out a burst of flame. But as it hit the air, the আগুন turned into black mist that covered everyone. Fear gas. But Terror's fear gas was a hundred times worse than the others. His showed আপনি your worst fear, the darkest part of your mind that no one else could see.
The মিনিট those caught in his mist fell, he slowly transformed back. The only other person standing was Becca. She ran up to him. He leaned against her, fighting to stay conscious.
“Take a deep breath. আপনি did well.”
“Can't...save her. Used....too much power.”
“I know. It's okay. I'll think of something.”
“Gotta get them...”
Becca nodded. Terror forced himself to stay up and walked into the shadows. Becca walked over to the door and leaned against it.
“If only I could get in. Damn black magic.”
He stood silent, waiting for him. He heard footsteps and soon a figure turned the corner.
“THERE আপনি are! What the HECK are আপনি doing?! You're injured! আপনি need to get back back in the infirmary!”
“Sam.”
“And where's Lizzie?! She disappeared! I'm not her babysitter! I have other things to do!”
“Sam.”
“And another thing! How exactly are she and Becca related?! No I don't want to know! She's just like Becca in every way! Stubborn, spoiled, arrogant-”
“SAM!”
The other male growled but kept quiet.
“Sorry to interrupt your প্রণয় spiel on Becca, but I need your help.”
Terror ignored the deathly glare he got and, grabbing Sam's wrist, walked back into the darkness.
He stopped walking, sensing another presence. Maybe two. He looked around, doing a complete 360. But he saw nothing. Still, he was on guard. As he started walking again, he saw a flicker of movement from the corner of his eye. He immediately spun around, kicking someone in the chest.
“Trying to help save your girlfriend and I get kicked in the ribs. That's gratitude for ya.”
His হৃদয় stopped.
“Devin's in trouble?!”
Terror slowly got to his feet.
“Yeah. Sam's back, helping Becca take care of the others. Ouch that hurt.”
“Where is she?!”
“If আপনি promise not to attack me, I can take আপনি to her.”
Fang nodded his head quickly. Terror glanced at him.
“Be ready to pry the demon off.”
Terror ignored the cold fury in Fang's eyes and took hold of his shoulder. He pulled Fang into the darkness with him, muttering about his bruised ribs.
