“Rylan! Alisa! Look! Look what's here!”
Both girls turned to the youngest of them. She was running and waving a piece of paper in her hand. She ran right through the testing ground, flipping when she almost ran into Artemis. Jade ran over to her বন্ধু and the everyone took a break to see what had gotten Jade so excited. Rylan took the paper and Alisa read over her shoulder.
“A carnival?” Alisa asked.
“Yeah! Can we go? Pleeeeaaase!!! It'll be our very first one! Please?”
Rylan looked over at Alisa. They seemed to communicate without words and the two looked at Jade.
“Sorry. We can't Jade.”
The younger girl's face fell.
“Why not?”
“You know we can't go out in public. We have no idea how to behave অথবা even how to dress. We just can't go.”
“I can go দ্বারা myself.”
“You're too young Jade.”
“Why do আপনি guys treat me like a baby?!”
“Because আপনি act like one!”
“It's not my fault! I never asked to be put in the Light! I never asked to be put here! I want my mom!”
“You never knew your mom!”
“At least I had one!”
With that statement pronounced loud and clear, Jade ran from the room. Rylan bit her lip. Alisa put a hand on her shoulder.
“Jade didn't mean it Ry. She's just upset.”
Rylan shook her head and ran out of the mountain. Alisa sighed heavily and left as well. That gave Young Justice a chance to talk alone.
“They need us,” Artemis said.
“It appears so. They are unstable and have no idea how to act.”
“We should help them,” Megan decided.
“How? They aren't exactly open.”
“Neither are আপনি Artemis but we've helped you,” Robin pointed out.
“Touche.”
“So is it decided? We help them?”
The team nodded their heads.
“Okay. Megan, Artemis, and I will go talk to ব্যাটম্যান about them. Robin, আপনি Wally, and Connor should go talk to the girls. Make sure they're okay.”
“You got it Kaldur.”
The threesome left, leaving the three boys alone.
“I'll go talk to Rylan,” Wally offered.
“I can talk to Alisa.”
“I'll take Jade,” Robin said. “We need to get them to talk to each other. Just in case anything else happens.”

Rylan was sitting against the cold rocks of the mountain. The sun was setting and a chill had set at the back of the mountain. But Rylan didn't mind. In fact, she craved the cold. What she didn't want was a certain speedster talking to her at the moment.
“Rylan? Are আপনি okay?”
“No. I want to be left alone.”
“Sorry. But I can't allow that.”
Rylan stood and, using her unique powers, created an ice road. She flew down the mountain. Wally raced behind her but he fell on the ice and started rolling down the hill. Rylan stopped when he hit the bottom.
“Wally!”
She ran over to him, checking for any injuries. There seemed to be none. Wally opened his eyes and smiled up at her.
“Hey beautiful. Did I die and go to heaven?”
Rylan sighed in relief. She smiled back at him, feeling an unusual feeling take over her. Wally sat up and looked at her with his green eyes.
“You need to never make ice roads again,” he teased.
Rylan blushed, but didn't look away.
“Maybe আপনি just need to work at running on ice.”
“Hey! I can run just fine.”
“So আপনি meant to fall on the ice?”
“Maybe.”
Rylan felt her হৃদয় skip a beat as Wally's eyes flickered to her lips and back to her eyes. Her face heated up when he leaned closer to her and she half closed her eyes. Her হৃদয় pounded in her chest and every nerve was set on আগুন when his lips touched hers. Rylan immediately responded back and felt her হৃদয় jump inside of her. Wally brought his hand to the back of her neck, the other attaching to her hip. Rylan ট্যাঙ্গেল্ড her fingers in his red hair and she knew she was in heaven.
