Both are okay, though...

I don't think I pay much attention to the year the anime was made. If I like an anime I like it in general not because of the year it's made same with the genre, it doesn't matter as long as I love the anime that's all that counts to me!..but If I choose one I guess new *shrug*

anime period works for me...

I'm choosing old school to balance out (or at least as much as I can) the pick, but seriously, I can't care less about when an anime is made. Plot, genre, chara development and stuff are more important.
