This is a short little rant, people.

I don't know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people spell my name wrong.

On Fanpop, I've gotten ranrea, renre, renray, ranraa, and many others. In real life, I've gotten Reagan, Regon, Regen, Reagen.... and people are always misspelling my last name (I'm not displaying that here.)

One thing I've noticed on ফ্যানপপ (and many other fansites, as well) is that people often fail to spell Stephenie Meyer's name right. That's right: StephEnie, with an E right there. Not an 'a'. An 'e'.

Some people have completely butchered Meyer's name. Stephanie, Stepheny, even Mayers for her last name. It's spelled Stephenie Meyer. Her name is from her dad, I believe, who was named Stephen.

The thing that annoys me most when people do this is that half of them are Twilighters (Twihards, Fanpires, NewMooners, whatever the heck আপনি wanna call them)- and they should know better. আপনি claim to be soooo obsessed and আপনি know EVERYthing about this book, and then আপনি go and spell the author's name wrong, multiple times!

But I'm not pointing fingers at them, though, Many antis (A lot of whom have read the book, actually) misspell her name, too.

So, seriously. আপনি may hate her, আপনি may প্রণয় her, but we all owe her the courtesy of spelling her name correctly, right? Right?
