He will do anything to make Elena love him, even leave her in a car to drown, because he'd rather have Elena love him than have her alive. Don't tell me it's because he's stupid, because this is the sort of bullshit certain DE fans put it just to win SE. He did it to let Elena figure out her feelings, for her to see if she loved Damon or not and choose whoever she chooses. I ship both couples, but this argument just has n logic at all, and Stefan wanted to save her, not Matt, but he understood this is not what she wanted. That's the difference Damon was telling Stefan about, Damon would do anything to save Elena, even if it's against her will, Stefan won't go that far. posted বছরখানেক আগে.

I agree that what Stefan did for the roadtrip was to let Elena figure out her feelings for Damon, but then the minute Elena returned and they went to the dance together he was making it out that he is the only person who was there for her, when really it's been Damon whose been there for her all season. Stefan seems to make so much more of an effort to prove that he's the better brother, Damon never even pretends he is. I never said that Stefan saving Matt first was wrong. I would have hated it if Matt died, I was just pointing out the differences between how Stefan and Damon would have acted in the same situation.
