These pretty 3 tales of Kira read here reminded me:
Actually I did quite similar in April 1983, directly after
I had seen the film once and again.
Of course my story I wrote is in German ;
So I give a translation here.
Today I could say I wanted to make it sound a little
bit like an old poem about King Arthur অথবা so.
I hope the translation carries some of the feelings of my
original story , and I hope there are some who feel similar
and will like it.

The tale of the Dark Crystal
—Hymn of Jen´ s and Kira´ s journey —
Jen the Gelfling
brought up দ্বারা the UrRu,
entirely peaceful race
he lived among them
in their vast valley .
But he didn’t know the world
নিরাপদ this place of peace and silence.
He was last of his tribe
which had been extinct
দ্বারা the Skeksis
which were very afraid to lose
their সামগ্রিক power
দ্বারা a Gelfling
as Prophecy said.
But one day
when his master died and sky darkened
he was sent out,
out to the far world alone
to find the Splinter,
the splinter of the darkened crystal,
to heal the world again,
to make an end to Skeksis´ rule.
Unexpectedly he found the splinter he was shown,
got him at প্রথমপাতা of Aughra,
old star-reader he was told of.
But he didn’t know
what to do with the piece of crystal
as nobody told him, and no time was left to him
because he had to flee
pursued দ্বারা the servants of the Skeksis, the
awful Garthim.
After pathless walk through forest so strange
then Jen found Kira
- she was Gelfling too ! -
and both were happy
not to be the very last Gelfling.
So further on they were no আরো alone !
But both they were searched for
দ্বারা the Skeksis and their servants.
At evening, after another escape,
they came to a secret place to rest.
And Jen cursed the splinter
because it seemed only to bring bad luck.
They lay down to sleep side দ্বারা side
at the old Gelfling field
once very long পূর্বে built দ্বারা their ancestors,
now desolated place since all dead.
পরবর্তি morning Jen had a discovery,
a scripture made in stone:
„ When the triple sun
shines like one big one
what was বিভক্ত করা then
will be Unity again;
alone দ্বারা Gelfling´s hand,
দ্বারা no one else throughout the land! „

Kira on his side listened what he read
and she was aware of the meaning !
Also Jen then realized what his task is about:
„ আপনি shall heal the বিভক্ত করা Crystal! „
-„ How do we get to the Skeksis´ দুর্গ the quickest?“
So they went to the one place
where hidden the Dark Crystal inside,
in the hand of the Skeksis.
Carefully the Gelflings slipped into the castle,
দ্বারা a hidden entrance
a way to the lowest parts.
Dark and moist it was,
a place to learn fear.
Suddenly a Skeksis stopped their way!
He had been observing them all the time…
The Skeksis wanted to take them
but they fought, and Jen
he hit the Skeksis´ arm with the splinter,
made the monster bleed.
But out of rage the Skeksis
broke down the rotten ceiling over Jen, so he was buried…
-was he dead ?!
And Kira was taken away
to the সিংহাসন of the Skeksis.
Very bad things they wanted with her,
wanted to drain her vital essence ,
to be drunk দ্বারা the General,
the cruel leader of the Skeksis.
One of them pulled her into a crowded dirty chamber,
a place with a scary green glowing within.
The Skeksis bound her on a bulky আসন
and he directed the evil beam of the dark crystal
into her fair face.
Jen - still alive !-
he freed at once দ্বারা desperate bravery
from out of the fallen rocks,
he felt what happened to Kira, and he cried aloud:
„Kira, fight it !!“
And Kira felt Jen´ s mind, and with vanishing powers
she called aloud all animals´ help
- cages with them stood everywhere around -
All the জন্তু জানোয়ার went crazy, and they freed Kira,
and they pushed the Skeksis to death into the central
fiery shaft of the castle.
Jen zig-zaged around
through the dark tunnels of the dark castle;
at last he fell into a deep pit,
a cave full of Garthim
which at once attacked him, theirselves, and all around.
So luckily a দেওয়াল cracked,
and Jen could escape out,
just into the fiery shaft of the castle,
climbing up, atop he saw the Crystal hang.
So the Gelflings finally could find way
after so many dangers, to the balconies above in the
hall of the Dark Crystal.
But helplessly they had to watch
how the Skeksis marched in
and they prepared for the Great Conjunction of the
triple sun.
Because: Conjunction passing দ্বারা now
- with the Crystal unhealed -
That meant: rule of the Skeksis forever!
So as Skeksis awaited their great moment,
last মিনিট passing দ্বারা ,
one of them thirst spotted Jen:
at once some of the Skeksis
turned into confusion being afraid
because they remembered Prophecy.
But then they shouted for their Garthim;
and these appeared on the balconies
also the one Jen was.
Poor Gelfling in his need
he did a dead-brave jump,
and he landed atop the Dark Crystal !
But with that force of jump he lost
the Splinter;
it fell down, away, on the floor to feet of the Skeksis.
And they all it saw!
দ্বারা then one of them hurried forward
in order to capture the splinter in his claws.
So finally Kira came down on her wings
— because Gelfling maidens have got silver wings
আপনি should know —
and she reached the splinter first
whilst the Skeksis struggled around.
As this happened they surrounded her at once;
and clearly she knew what should come next;
whatever she would do with the splinter now:
there seemed no আরো lucky solution,
Jen just had to watch it all helplessly from above.
And so, in the end, the united beam of the Triple Sun
it hit the Crystal !
There was no আরো way to decide, so Kira cried it out:
„ Jen — heal the Crystal !!“
So she swung the splinter
- and that meant now: EVERYTHING -
on it’s way through the air towards Jen & Crystal,
gave him ALL to finish the great act.
The fateful track of the splinter over the shaft of death
it ended twofold:
দ্বারা Jen´ s hand
who took it for the crystal;
and also
দ্বারা the darkest rage
the Skeksis´ dagger
cut Kira´ s heard , and set end to her live.
After fallen to floor she looked for a very last glance
—„Jen!“;
then lifeless all joy was.
Jen with the splinter in his fist, over the crack of the crystal
his heard no আরো beat for a while.
Then, so clearly he understood
the splinter being in his hand, a Gelfling´ s hand!
It´ s no আরো than a single move….
So he cried aloud and pushed the Missing
into the Crystal´ s wound.
The Dark Crystal
at once flashed in whitest light , and started swinging in joy.
Jen was thrown to ground to the Skeksis.
দ্বারা then the UrRu came in —
They knew all about the দিন of fate,
they trusted in the Prophecy.
Within the shaking দুর্গ
they gathered around the fair crystal
and put their light eyes upon the totally perplexed Skeksis.
The crystal becoming clearer and fairer আরো and more
it sendet distinct beams
radiating straight through the still-standing UrRu and their eyes,
right onto each Skeksis, drawing them inexorably towards the
upstanding UrRu,
making them One,
the beings they were before;
before the crystal had broken,
they had broken in their stupidity.
But all Jen´ s thoughts
they where not with this…
-In the দুর্গ of Skeksis, turning out white,
all the dirty dark crust from the 1000 years Skeksis´ misrule
was falling off-
Jen unconscious of all this
he just walked over the now nearly crystal-like floor,
seeming so alone,
he just went to Kira there fallen dead,
took her desperately into his arms,
and caressed her poor body.
Meanwhile the Reunion was complete;
Skeksis & UrRu had become one.
Unworldly looking beings,
fair and wise, were now instead.
And they called Jen.
Small and somehow still lost, compared with all the Glory around,
maybe with a weak idea of hope
he neared অগ্রবর্তী with Kira ,
with all his tears he looked, with all his desperate question, to the
UrSkeks.
One of the Wise spoke to Jen with a comforting voice,
and he stretched his hands towards Kira.
Now UrSkeks had the power
to bring back Kira´ s life !
So she gently woke in Jen´ s arms.
Finally the Wise handed over
the new healed world to the Gelflings;
they disappeared , and so all went good:
All what was বিভক্ত করা became one again !
