We all know that not even the ডিজনি Princesses can be perfect so here's my প্রবন্ধ listing up some of the flaws that each princess has in my opinion. Okay I'm going to probably get a lot of hate for this, but like Miley Cyrus sang in Hannah Montana "Nobody's Perfect".

Snow White:

Even though I'm a big অনুরাগী of her she has flaws, but they aren't big ones at all and the first one that I have listed I can understand that one. Okay the first flaw about her is that she accepted the আপেল from the old hag when she wasn't supposed to, but I can understand why she did it, the hag tricked her into doing it. The সেকেন্ড one is that she isn't very smart, but she does do smart things, but not a whole lot. Those are her only flaws so now let's সরানো on!

Cinderella:

Another princess that I really প্রণয় (she's my 3rd favorite), but i can still find a few flaws on her. First of all I don't like that she complained about her work though I do think that's pretty ব্রেভ of her to do it, but if I where her I would never do it, I would keep that thought for myself. সেকেন্ড I don't like that she ব্যক্ত that she hadn't met the prince when she stood infront of him.

Aurora:

My 2nd পছন্দ princess and she still has some flaws. The first one is that she had very little screentime (18 minutes). সেকেন্ড I don't like that she became very upset after she got to know that she would never meet the stranger she had met in the forest, but at the same time I can relate to that, I would've reacted in the same way if I where her.

Ariel:

Please try to skip this part if আপনি are an Ariel অনুরাগী because I'm very negative at this point and I don't think আপনি will like me if আপনি would read it. Okay I can তালিকা tons of flaws on Ariel (well she's my least পছন্দ princess), but here are a few of them. First of all I don't find her smart at all, sure I appreciate her for going after her dream despite having her father after her kind of, but why did she chose to leave her family without saying goodbye until the end of the movie and then she also decided to give up her voice just to be with Eric, I'm happy that Eric didn't চুম্বন her at the right time because if he would've done it Ariel would be mute forever and while I appreciate her আরো as a mute Eric would have it a lot easier if Ariel could speak (that was why I letted Ariel keep her voice in my fan-fiction Alexandra and the Princesses). Third I don't like how she just disobeys her father all the time, sure it's typical teenage behaviour, but it's a very overdriven behaviour in my opinion because noraml teenagers listens a bit আরো on their parents and they start to follow the rules after they've broken them. These are the main reasons to why she's my least পছন্দ and the fact that she's very selfish!

Belle:

I don't have a lot of flaws here to count up so if আপনি are a অনুরাগী of Belle আপনি can read this because I'm not crazily negative here. Okay I only have one flaw to count up, but it's a quite big one and that is that she went into the West Wing when she wasn't supposed, but I can understand why she did it, she was way too curious about the castle, but still she was told that it was forbidden to go there and she just forgets it.

Jasmine:

I know I'm going to get some hate for this, but what I don't like the most about জুঁই is her temper which is why I prefer her in the sequeals. I also don't like the fact that she wanted to leave the palace just because she didn't want to be a princess, if she wasn't an official DP I would've liked her a lot আরো because then it wouldn't matter that much to me.

Pocahontas:

One of the flaws that I've found in her is that she isn't very smart, people says that she is, but she isn't because when she jumped of that cliff in the beginning of the movie I can't say that was very smart of her to do it, but it was ব্রেভ though. Another one is that even though she loves her father she goes off into the forest just to meet John Smith. I also don't like that she chose to let John Smith leave her, I think that she should've gone with him.

Mulan:

Just because she's ব্রেভ and smart doesn't mean that she's flawless. One of her flaws in my opinion is that she's very clumsy, while I can relate to that it's also a bit annoying to me, but it's not a very big flaw despite being one of my least পছন্দ princesses. But the biggest one to me is that she tries to make people listen to her, but I think that she seems to forget that she's a girl at that point because if she was a boy in real people would've listned to her, it shouldn't be like that.

Tiana:

This is an obvious flaw, but I'll tell আপনি that one anyway. While I appreciate her for working so hard to get the money so that she can open up her resturant she doesn't get the time to be with her বন্ধু and have fun. She also loses her good traits when she becomes a frog.

Rapunzel:

I প্রণয় Rapunzel in the end of the movie because she acts like a mature woman, but in the rest I don't really like how naive she is, normally I like it when a princess is a bit naive, but Rapunzel is a bit too much in my opinion.

AnimaIuco This article is crazy.... So Snow White did a lot of smart things. Well, could you name them? You see, if you really think Snow White is not smart, you could just say it. No one here or even Snow White herself will hate you for that. And you don't like that Cinderella complains about her work? Well, I'm pretty sure you love robot characters, because only a robot would work for like 15 years and never say a word about it. And for me, it's kinda strange to say that having 18 minutes of screentime is an Aurora's flaw. Did she decide to have that screentime? ¬¬ I will not make any comments about your Ariel description, just because 2 weeks ago she was one of your favorites.Things seem to change so fast in your mind. . And what about Mulan? Are you sure trying make people listen to you is a flaw? Well, I mostly agree about Jasmine and Belle, but I suggest that you try to make your points clearer from now on.

IsaacKuo I think it's good to express our earnest opinions in articles like these. It gets people thinking, which is better than the alternative. Anyway, I don't consider Belle's disobedience in exploring the West Wing to be a flaw. She never promised to obey Beast. She only promised to stay in the castle. It's not like Beast was her father or anything. At that point in the story, he wasn't even her friend. He was just her captor. In my opinion, Belle's most important flaw is that she assumes others know what she's thinking without her having to come out and say it. One result is that she inadvertently strings along Gaston, rather than just telling him to get lost. Another result is that Beast becomes suicidally depressed when she leaves to save her father. She doesn't think it necessary to say she'll be right back afterwards. She doesn't think it necessary to say she loves him--until it's almost too late. This flaw, more than any of the others, is a fundamental part of the story.

LightningRed I agree with some of your points. but the flaws you mentioned are not flaws. Those "flaws" are just things you don't like about the princesses, aren't they? Flaws are weaknesses, not things you disagree with. For example: * Trying to make people listen to you * Not being smart * Too little screentime I think those are not flaws...

pretty_angel92 Snow white's flaws are actually acceptable because she's 13/14 years old, she likes to dream. it's normal at that age. besides, she is smart. you can notice that she's nervous while talking to the queen, she knows there's something fishy about her and she wasn't even believing the queen's story until she said that the apple was magical..... then, she decides to accept the apple, not because she's stupid, but because she's naive and too young about Cinderella, i already said, she's too weak and afraid of the stepmother and stepsisters. she's also a little dumb, but nothing too serious lol i agree about Aurora, Belle and Ariel(even though she has much more flaws than the ones you mentioned) "I know I'm going to get some hate for this, but what I don't like the most about Jasmine is her temper"- ok, i know this is a matter of opinion, and i can understand why you don't like her temper, since your favorite princesses are calm, gente etc... but seriously , Jasmine has attitude. i love her for that " I also don't like that she chose to let John Smith leave her, I think that she should've gone with him. AnimaIuco @pretty_angel92 No, I don't hate Snow White! In fact, I love her with all my heart. I love all the princesses (the only one I dislike a bit is Jasmine). And I agree with all your points, though I still don't think they are enough to point that Snow White is a smart woman... Se is just normal, never stupid, never a genious.

AnimaIuco BTW, pretty_angel, it's not because you waste your time hating princesses that everyone has to. You dedicate most of your comments in this spot to make people know why you hate Ariel. That is so true that I'm able to say who's the favorite princess of nearly everyone in the spot, except for yours. maryksand Oh good lord, people are fighting because of princesses again. Be nice, guys. We all have our favourites and our least favourites. Personally, Snow White always annoyed and irretated me, but I find most of the accusations against her to be unfair and I disagree that her accepting that apple from the old hag can be considered a flaw, because she couldn't know that the old hag was an Evil Queen transformed into an old lady through magic. It was truly impossible to know that. I would say her major flaw is that she doesn't have a personality, she mostly has a number of qualities, but no emotional strength of her character and she doesn't develop at all throughout the movie, facing no struggles and remaining the same from the beginning till the end. I don't agree about Pocahontas at all. Why would she go with Smith? HE came to her land to posess it, to take it away from her people and he an his people did so much damage to her land as no one else ever did before (including one of her people being murdered). Yes, at some point they developed feelings and I would point at how rushed it was considering that they just met and barely knew each other but I'd obviously look biased if I do it because my favourite Disney couples are Rapunzel/Flynn and Eric/Ariel who knew each other for 2-3 days when they fell in love. But neither Flynn or Eric tried to do any harm to these girls unlike Smith who pointed a loaded gunn at Pocahontas during their first meetng. It was a sort of a noble act that he ended up protecting her father and getting injured, but he wass honestly just cleaning his own mess, because he was entirely aware of what kind of person Ratcliffe was and what he was going to do to "savages" if they refuse to give away their land yet he still took part in this expedition and up untill meeting Pocahontas he himself was willing to kill savages if they don't want to play by his rules. I don't see why Pocahontas should have gone with him when she was obviously happier without him in her life. Cinderella did not know that Charming was a prince when she met him, and the scene where she was shocked to hear that news and even dropped something she was holding in her hands proves it. Also she did not complain about her work to anyone BUT mouses and her animal friends and I don't see how can she get a blame for that. Ariel did not leave her family behind for a man, she left because she felt like she belonged to human world and she had been dreaming of being a part of it long before she even met Eric. She explored the human world and collected things despite her father's prejudices against it because she didn't judge something before finding out a truth on her own. Considering the fact that Eric was talked into getting married by Grimsby, I assume the movie was set in the time when everyone was getting married and starting living an adult life away from parents at young age so I don't see what's wrong with Ariel wanting to move away and be in a place where she was happier, with a person she chose for herself. And it's not like Triton was right generalizing ALL humans and saying they were barbaric creatures so it wasn't much of a flaw for Ariel to disobey him at certain points and be able to form her own world view. Rapunzel wasn't "naive", obviously she didn't know much about the world but it was due to circumstances she was raised in and it wasn't her character trait. And I honestly don't get the points against Mulan, because the ones you mentioned about her trying to make people listen to her are hardly flaws. As for being clumsy, I agree with that, but I wouldn't say it's a flaw, more like a trait.

alldisfan @ maryksand You make great points about Pocahontas, Cinderella and Rapunzel. I thought everyone knew that about them. It does bother me that so many people don't like Snow White because she's kind hearted. That makes me think people are turning for the worse. When I was younger it was the kind people that everyone liked, now it's almost reversed. Although Snow White is not the prettiest (thanks to limited experience and rotoscoping) her kind nature is why she's my favorite. And the fact that when she was homeless she got a JOB not a man. She was content to leave that for whenever it came about.

Coolsinger198 and I both had the same idea ironically to write a fairy প্রবন্ধ to the relations of the পরী to the princesses. But sadly her প্রবন্ধ had trouble posting, so I want to give her some credit for this since she had the same idea as me.

I watched Tinker Bell: The Pirate Fairy not too long পূর্বে and I absolutely loved it, especially Baby Tic Toc. Then I started noticing some similarities between the পরী and the princesses in further notice through the film. Quite frankly some even looked like the princesses. This প্রবন্ধ is a ranking of the 11 ডিজনি princess films not the princesses from worst to best. I must clarify that I don't think that any ডিজনি princess film is bad but some are definitely better than others. It is completely my opinion. Share yours in the comments.

'Mary-Sue' is unnecessarily thrown around

To start Mary-Sue is thrown around not only on the ডিজনি Princess club, but almost everywhere whenever it comes down to the ডিজনি Princesses. The correct definition to Mary-Sue is a perfect female character who doesn't try to be perfect, but naturally is. Like a Renaissance Man, yet doesn't fail at least while trying.
Some have been saying Classics, অথবা Walt Disney's princesses, Belle and Rapunzel are Mary-Sues, plus more. I very much disagree.

The most common areas to be considered Mary-Sues are:
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Ariel (on the occasion)
Belle
Rapunzel

Why Merida Needs আরো প্রণয়

As I was creating my প্রতীকী for Team Merida, I realised exactly why I loved this girl. As a result, I decided to write an প্রবন্ধ with 5 reasons why everybody should প্রণয় Merida/Brave

1. ব্রেভ was the first পিক্সার film that had a female protagonist.

Pixar is a hugely successful company, but it took about 8 years since they first started making films for them to make a movie where the main character was a girl. Before ব্রেভ was made, I was slightly annoyed at পিক্সার - most of it's films didn't even pass the Bechdel test. I প্রণয় ব্রেভ because it finally featured an awesome female character.
