Would আপনি say Edward is a goos father, considering that he wanted to abort his first born and all that?

I would say that Edward is probably a wonderful father to his daughter.

Now, I used to get upset when I read about Edward wanting the baby aborted. To me, it just seemed that he was being unfair to his and Bella's child. I knew that he was only trying to protect Bella, but it still pissed me off.

But then I felt better once he read Renesmee's thoughts and learned that she was the opposite of what he first imagined her as (a monster).

Once she was born, I think he was a good father and loved her just as much as he loved Bella.

But on the other hand, my other problem with this is that there weren't that many Edward and Renesmee moments, আপনি know?
There were numerous times in BD where Bella and Renesmee bonded, and times where Jacob and Renesmee bonded.
All we got to read about Edward and Renesmee was his গান গাওয়া a lullaby to her in Renesmee's memories, the pleasant look on his face when he ব্যক্ত her name, and when he hugged her before the Volturi arrived. Just those three things.

Although I really wished Stephenie wrote আরো about Edward with Renesmee, I'm sure that he was a really good dad.

It's a really sad moment. I think he wanted to keep Bella safe. It happens when the pregnancy can kill the mother, sometimes the doctors recommend the abortion.

But once he could hear Renesmee's thoughts, he fell in প্রণয় with the kid.

What surprises me the most, is that Bella never mentioned anything about it after she wakes up. And he doesn't apologize অথবা anything...

But Jacob's behavior was worst for me. He wanted to kill the baby and then all of a sudden... Imprinting.

He'd told Edward to throw her through the window! And yet Edward never asked him about it, proving how much better than Jacob he is.

i dont know, because he was just protecting Bella, he didnt know what Renesmee would turn into (she coulda been a monster), but after that he seems to care about her. But then it doesnt seem like he talks to her that much...

Absolutely I would say Edward is a good father! The only reason he wanted to get rid of Renesmee before she was born was to save Bella... That's always been his main concern, to save Bella...

i believe Edward will be an amazing dad he had no clue what was in his wife & would choose Bella over everyone...he got over the shock & realizes Bella knew what she was doing it just took his daughter a little time to let him know she loves him (in the womb) :)

Edward is a wonderful dad. I think he wanted the abort because he thought the kid was a monster, অথবা something like that, and would kill Bella. But after the born he realizes that the kid is "normal" and can't make any bad.

not at first because he wanted the baby aborted, don't care what his reasons were. he should have just accepted bella's wishes from the get go and not try and talk her round. that in my eyes is rather disgusting behaviour. bella knew the risk and he should have just accepted that. after she was born and he knew bella was safe, he really bonded and got to know her and প্রণয় her. but i think if bella had died he wouldn't have wanted to know renesmee at all cos he would have seen her as the thing that killed bella
