I waited, he was staring off into space, with his mouth hanging wide open. Maybe I should repeat myself.
"Edward? Be honest, if আপনি don't want to marry me, then tell me, but I would really appreciate it if আপনি ব্যক্ত something."
I watched as his eyes slowly refocused and he closed his mouth. His expression was hard, determined.
"I'm not saying no, but are আপনি sure আপনি want to?"
I thought about it as quickly as possible. I was testing him. If he agreed to marry me, then he did প্রণয় me, if this was all a joke to him, then he would say no. It was easy to decide.
"I definitely want to. I mean, I প্রণয় you, I've had experience dating, and I know when something is wrong, but I can tell আপনি do প্রণয় me. So, of course I want to marry you. But, do আপনি want to marry me?"
"Let me think about this for a little bit."
He walked over and sat down on the sofa. His eyes on the floor. I kept my eyes on him, waiting. I sat as still as possible, just waiting and wondering what was going through his head. Maybe he really didn't প্রণয় me. What if he didn't want me? I pushed that thought away.
About an ঘন্টা later, he finally stirred. He looked up at me and I looked back, wondering what his answer would be.
"I thought the guy was supposed to propose, not the other way around."
I stared down at the ground now, trying to keep the tears from falling.
"I know I প্রণয় you, but isn't this going to fast for you?"
I didn't look up as I said,"No, this is at the perfect pace."
"Well then,"he said.
He pulled my chin up and grabbed my hand, pulling me off the bed, until I was standing just inches from him. He made me look at him, never letting my hand go.
"Elizabeth Martin,"he ব্যক্ত as he repositioned himself onto one knee. I gasped, then he continued,"I প্রণয় you, and আপনি প্রণয় me. I want আপনি forever and ever, and I promise to প্রণয় আপনি every second, of every দিন of forever. And I need আপনি to answer this question. Will আপনি marry me?"
I smiled, a really big smile. I watched as his hand reached into his pocket and pulled out the velvet black box, the one with the ring that ding dong had returned, the most beautiful ring in the world.
"Of course, Edward Cullen, yes I'll marry you."
He opened the box and pulled out the ring. He slid it onto my finger and it fit perfectly.
"This ring was the one my father gave to my mother. And I want আপনি to have it."
And for the first time, he kissed me, full on the lips. And I kissed back. It felt nice, this was a passionate kiss, but I could tell he was holding back. I enjoyed the চুম্বন very much, but much too soon did he pull away.
I looked at him, confused.
"It's nothing against you, but I don't want to hurt you, which could very easily happen, honey."
"I know, আপনি have super strength and all, but I did enjoy the kiss."
"As did I. But tomorrow, I want to ask আপনি every প্রশ্ন I can think of, no matter how stupid, I want আপনি to answer as best আপনি can and honest."
"Okay, but why tomorrow?"
He looked to the windows, it had gotten dark, and I hadn't realized it.
"Oh."
"I'll let আপনি sleep now. For the wedding, I want আপনি to decide."
"Okay," I said, sitting on the bed.
He leaned down and kissed me again. I tried to চুম্বন back only a little bit, and then he left the room. I laid down for a little bit, before deciding I should get ready.
I grabbed the bag from off the floor and then I grabbed my PJs and headed for the bathroom. I changed into my light পরাকাষ্ঠা tank শীর্ষ with a monkey on it and the matching pajama pants, and brushed my teeth. Then I went back to bed.
