Is there a way of using bullet points in an article?

I've tried [*], which is the format I've used before on other websites, but here that doesn't do anything when I প্রিভিউ the article. Is there another way to do bullet points here? অথবা will I have to use numbered points অথবা just asterixis instead?

All আপনি have to do is long press the full stop (.) on your phone's/tablet's keyboard and you'll see the bullet point pop up. If it doesn't, আপনি may have to change your keyboard settings.

I tried the long press . suggestion but all it did was create a chain of dots like...... That must only work on a phone অথবা tablet not a laptop. I think * works OK as a replacement though.
