Today's ফ্যানপপ has আরো people mean and sarcastic then others. I'm not against it, but I don't have to be.

For those "yelled" at constantly, that means you're doing something WRONG! And it only leads to disaster. What might আপনি do wrong?
• Spamming
• Spelling names wrong
• Using incorrect grammar
• Posting miscategorized pictures, picks, questions(answers), etc. to a spot
• Hating on the person's spot
• Impersonating a celebrity
• Making a hate spot

If আপনি do any of those things, আপনি WILL be yelled at অথবা sarcastically talked to. And don't be a baby and cry about it. FIX IT!

Don't go on the Twilight Series spot and say: I HATE THIS STUFF! People will scream at you. Maybe even প্রতিবেদন আপনি if it's too serious.

Fans, do not kill yourself because I told আপনি this is OKAY to do.

Renesmee_XD Forgot to add but, if your native language is not English and you speak another language, hate might hit you! Seriously? I have been speaking Hindi all my life does that mean even though I am better at English I will be hated for speaking Hindi? :/

youknowit101 I don't think it's right to tell people to kill themselves, even if you're angry or just joking. Some bouts of anger or jokes shouldn't be acceptable. The only time someone deserves the sarcasm is when you *spam *impersonate someone *post miscategorized comments *or spread hate (hate spots or unprovoked hateful comments) Why can't you let it slide if someone spells something wrong or messes up their grammar? Is it really a big deal? It's a little annoying, but you'll live. If someone gets sarcastic with me, I'll get sarcastic right back, unless I think it's funny. If someone gets snide with me, i'll get snide right back. Especially if it's because I misspelled something. You should add to that list *If you "yell" at someone for doing these things, expect to get "yelled" at right back.

william_laughs I think yelling is not a good reaction. If someone is being "yelled at constantly" it might be that a troll mob has formed. So why blame the person being yelled at? It's better for ALL of us to be more civil. We may fall short of perfect behavior, but we can have great interactions if we come to FanPop with that intention. Not everyone on FanPop is the same age or they may be going through a difficult time. So I think it's good to relax and not take anything on Fanpop personally...but keep in mind others might not be able to help it. And if we meet people who aren't acting civil, we can always just ignore them or report them.

fanfly What william_laughs said. Just because someone made a mistake is absolutely no reason to YELL at them. You can help them by politely pointing out that they made a mistake and giving them advice on how to correct it. As for spelling/grammar; I admit that I hate text speak but I certainly don't go around yelling at people who use it or talking down to them. What would that get me? Nothing but a reputation as a bitch. And I always give people who demonstrate poor spelling and/or grammar the benefit of the doubt. English is not everyone's native language and to get your panties in a twist over something like that just makes you look like an ass hole. The only thing I agree deserves a bit of yelling at is the ones who go on a spot they aren't a fan of and deliberately insult the topic. That's trolling. But since they're obviously just trying to stir up trouble and get a reaction, the best way to foil them is just to ignore them. If they continue, report them. Oh and people who impersonate celebrities should just be reported.

karlyluvsam dont be mean to new fanpopers that wont to know about medals - ok yeah almost evey week someone post a questin - that says " how to get medals " " why dont they have have one yet " " or asking what it is " but come do you really have to bite there head off --- some people havent been here from the start of fan pop - an have like 49 medals

william_laughs We all come to Fanpop for a good time and to meet people like us. But I know where she's coming from. It's frustrating sometimes to meet people who are just looking for a fight or drama. But the thing I keep in mind is, I can minimize drama by just not participating in it. And I can be aware that my own words help shape experiences here on Fanpop. I'd rather make it a good experience.

The_Zebra_Freak i REALLY hate when people pick on me for my grammar. Its ridiculous. I mean,its just grammar. Oh well i mispell stuff SO WHAT?

It has come to my attention that my gift for words has been failing me miserably these past few days. What I mean to impart is coming off as bitchiness rather than humerous অথবা helpful.

For that, I want to apologize. Especially to Harold, who works hard for this site and didn't deserve to feel like he was under attack at all. I'm an idiot. I would offer to smooch and make up, but I'm too old to be getting beat up দ্বারা anyone's wife...

Fanpop- Home, Sweet Home!

When I first clicked onto Fanpop, I felt like something was a little different. It wasn't like MySpace অথবা YouTube (not that I have anything against the people who use them), where I normally get the feeling that people I don't know are looking at my profile. I felt like I could message the users on here and not get a rude অথবা creepy message back. I could comment, rate, and make picks without anyone (besides the occasional bad-mannered user) commenting on my own opinions. I could add things and feel really great when someone else gave me শ্রদ্ধার্ঘ্য অথবা মতামত প্রদত্ত on how thankful they were for that item. And, I am so glad that ফ্যানপপ has stayed this way! I feel so comfortable on here and only know 4 other fanpoppers in real life. I just wanted to compliment all of the wonderful users on how great they are on making this an awesome site to be on! আপনি are all part of the reason I am now very addicted to Fanpop!

Have আপনি ever gone to a spot and seen 3 লিঙ্ক with the exact same title? Have আপনি ever seen a video of an annual event and wondered if it was from this বছর অথবা last years show? Gone through a whole video on a spot and wondered why it was there? The problem is generic titling. There is a very simple solution for this that I will explain to আপনি and help আপনি put into play in your everyday Fanpopping.

Have I read this প্রবন্ধ before??? I just can't tell with this generic title!

আরো generic titles might be ok for pictures (I mean really how specific can আপনি get with a picture.... Amy Adams...

When I first started on ফ্যানপপ I didn't exactly know what ফ্যানপপ really was, I just was on ফ্যানপপ so I could see চলচ্ছবি of my favourite tv shows.
But then I noticed that আপনি could do other things like answering picks and I started to do that.
Some picks made me laugh really hard, other made me think about things that I've never really thought about.
I did that for a while and it was (and still is) really fun to do and then I began to notice that when I couldn't sleep, অথবা just was bored, I was making picks in my head.

And then I had this brilliant idea (yes, I know, I'm a genius:D) that I could...

IM and Chat are Back!

This is a quick guide to using the new IM and Chat beta launch.

Rooms Tab:
The global-chat is open to all registered fans.

There is another room that is reserved for users of a certain level, and you'll also see that in the Rooms tab. In the past, we've had a few যেভাবে খুশী people come in and hit on the people in the chat rooms, so the reserved room should be relatively free of such riff-raff.

Contact Tab:
Setting custom status messages: click on the pencil, and type away!

Turning off chat: Click on the bubble পরবর্তি to "I am online" and click on the red "Log out" option on the menu.

Contacts are your mutual...
