ফ্যানপপ Article: I'm Dedicated!

I've been a member of ফ্যানপপ for a little under a বছর and have been enjoying the site immensely. I glanced at my spots, er, clubs, and saw one outlined in green. What the heck? Then I saw the dot. Oh my! Could it be? Sure enough, below "my spots" was the icon: Dedicated Fan.

I am shocked and oh so excited. I've created a few spots, and added quite a bit to several, but these spots aren't that popular. That fact is fine দ্বারা me, but I doubted I'd ever get to be a Dedicated অনুরাগী (a secret desire of all Fanpoppers, I'm sure). Although I check the site daily, I don't have time to add much content (I haven't even figured out how to উঠিয়ে রাখুন আরো that one picture at a time), and when I do, it's usually to a spot that doesn't get a lot of action. I'm so pleased that enough people have discovered, and hopefully enjoyed, the content I have provided.

Thank আপনি all for allowing me to become a Dedicated Fan...next stop-Die-Hard Fan!

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one তারকা CONSTANTLY. People have complained in ফোরাম on আরো than one occasion, no অনুরাগী would rate something one তারকা if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One বৃক্ষ পাহাড় spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one তারকা and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various লিঙ্ক to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, অথবা their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, অথবা even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

So you've stumbled upon ফ্যানপপ because আপনি were Googling অথবা clicked on a link somewhere. The পরবর্তি thing আপনি know আপনি start joining a few spots that you're a অনুরাগী of...then আরো spots...and even আরো spots. For spots আপনি can't find, আপনি might even start creating new spots. Then আপনি start adding videos, প্রতিমূর্তি and লিঙ্ক to spots. আপনি discover Picks and can't stop answering প্রশ্ন in all your spots (and even some spots that you're not even a অনুরাগী of!). আপনি start making picks and even লেখা soapbox articles. All of the sudden people are adding আপনি as a অনুরাগী and you're earning পদক and getting...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where আপনি were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. I am, of course, talking about unity. No, not unity against a 'common enemy' অথবা a 'troll' as many people on the internet assume is unity, but genuine "I can just click something to make someone feel a little better" kind of unity.

Yep, they do!

As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick অথবা writes a মতামত it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean মতামত about how either their প্রশ্ন is stupid অথবা even how stupid the person is for making a pick. The reason we যোগদান spots and make picks is because...

I have been waiting all দিন to find out the results of the Fanpoppies. I was refreshing every 10 মিনিট just to see if the results had been posted. After awhile I decided to go out to lunch with some বন্ধু (sushi yum). Little did I know that at প্রথমপাতা a great horror awaited me. ফ্যানপপ was dead!
First there was anger and then tears. I had no idea what to do. The horrible truth...
