Julien had been অভিনয় weird lately. Being secretive, jumpy, nervous. Lexii didn't know what was wrong with him. They had been dating for almost four months and she had never seen him act like this.  
    Lexii shook her head and kept walking. She felt the cold cement zoo walkway on her feet, and the warm setting sun on her back. 
   Suddenly her right foot made contact with something round, causing her to stumble foward. She regained her composure and turned around to see what it was. 
  "What the-?...." she murmured as she saw the bumpy yellow skin of a lemon. Around the লেবু was a হৃদয় shape made out of SweetTart candies. Her পছন্দ ফলমূল and her পছন্দ candy.  Lexii cocked her head to one side then saw that there was another লেবু with a ক্যান্ডি চকোলেট হৃদয় about four feet away from the first.  Then another. Then another. There was a whole trail. 
  She shrugged and started walking....

         Meanwhile......

 Julien placed the last লেবু and ক্যান্ডি চকোলেট in a হৃদয় shape around him. He stood up to survey his work and nodded. Pretty good.  He smiled and picked up the small navy-blue velvet box.  Tonight was the night......


  The trail stopped at the brick দেওয়াল in front of the লেমুর habitat.  Lexii nimbly jumped on শীর্ষ of it and then hopped down to the other side.  Another লেবু was a couple feet in front of her. Then another.  Then another.  They led behind the brick structure in the middle of the habitat. Lexii followed on. 

   The মিনিট Julien saw Lexii's snowy white furry body appear around the corner, his হৃদয় started pounding. His paws sweat and he felt light-headed and dizzy.  
   Lexii stopped at the end of the trail and looked up at him. 
    She tilted her head to one side. He looked like a loonatic. His পশম was sticking out in all directions, his bloodshot eyes couldn't focus on anything, and he was panting and sweating like he had just run a marathon. 
    Julien seemed to have noticed because he frantically tried to smooth out his পশম and wipe his brow. 
    "Julien, what is this?" Lexii ব্যক্ত starting to smile a little. 
    Julien swallowed and got down on one knee. Lexii's mouth dropped open in shock.  
      He opened the velvet box to revel a ring. It was made of a light colored, carved wood with tiny crystals mounted permanently on the band. In the center was a baby blue diamond. It was the most beautiful thing Lexii had ever seen.  
    Julien took a deep breath. "I'm sorry it's not স্বর্ণ but I couldn't get any.. The thing is, I প্রণয় আপনি and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Lexii. I want to be being there for আপনি when আপনি wake up and be being there for আপনি when আপনি fall asleep. You're the greatest thing that's ever happen-ed to me.  ...... Will আপনি marry me?" he said, his voice cracking with emotion.  
   Lexii didn't know what to say.  She managed some sort of squeaking noise before tacking Julien to the ground.  They laid in the middle of the হৃদয় hugging each other. 
    "Can I take dat as a 'yes'?" Julien ব্যক্ত after a few minutes. 
    "Yes! Yes! Yes! " she laughed and hugged him again. 
   "Uh, sweetheart?" Julien ব্যক্ত smiling. 
   "Yeah?" she ব্যক্ত dreamily. 
"You have to put the ring on." Julien giggled. 
"Oh! Right. Heh." Lexii held out her hand as Julien slipped the ring on her middle finger. 
   She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. When they finally broke apart they both whispered "I প্রণয় you" at the same time.
