Quaila Let me rephrase that assumption for you youknowit101, would it not offend Twilight fans equally much if it said: "Shouldn't Twilight fans have read book 4, realised they've wasted their time with the whole series and thus given up on the movies?" Yes, I may dislike Twilight vehemently, you may dislike Harry Potter vehemently. But is comments like the above constructive to the debate? Isn't it just a blank assertion that Harry Potter in total sucks and that Harry Potter fans are unreasonable? Condensed, these sort of arguments are basically exemplified in the following fictional dialogue: "My book is better!" "No, you're wrong, my book is better!" "No, it's you who are wrong, my book is definitely better! Yours suck!" And so on and so on... Isn't that quite deplorable an argument? What evidence was those two fictional fans able to bring forward for their side in their vigorous and constructive debate?
