Nope. I think its stupid that people want them together just because theyre the "two outcasts" -- they have NO chemistry whatsoever! Even though they're friends, Neville still feels very awkward around her, how much would that multiply if they were going out? It'd be like a platypus going out with a donkey.

This is literally the million and first time that i've had to say: I DON'T LIKE LUNA AND NEVILLE BECAUSE THEY ARE THE TWO "OUTCASTS"! I obviously don't mind if someone doesn't like them together, but just don't assume that when you don't know. I like them together because they seem so cute, and I don't see them as the "weirdo's", because I find both of them awesome :) They are always hanging out together, and I don't think it's just because they're left out cuz they seem to like each other and understand each other!

I didn't realize my comment would cause such controversy. I wasn't labelling people's opinions as stupid, I was just saying its a silly reason if its simply because theyre the "2 outcasts" -- if you was weird, would you want someone to pair YOU up with someone else just because they're weird also?

volleyblue13, I didn't say that that was what everyone thinks.. I just meant some people do want them together because theyre the 2 "outcasts" which I find silly, really. I'm not saying everyone does, because that's just common sense really.

Luna is one of my favourite characters ever, I think shes amazing. JK's intention was to make her weird (i'm assuming) otherwise she would have just made her be like Alicia Spinnet or someone else, but she made her Luna Lovegood. she's SUPPOSED to be different.. as well as Neville. Neville's not weird but he sure as hell thinks hes an outcast, whether hes one or not.

Ugh, hell no. I love Luna to pieces, and I like Neville. I think he became a real hero in the end but I just feel that they wouldn't be right together. I don't think Neville understands Luna and he's a bit scared of her. In fact I'm even thinking about becoming a Harry/Luna shipper...hmmm...
