End of Chapter 5
"Dad, I'm going to go help." I ব্যক্ত as I started walking towards the woods.
"No, Jacob stay here." He said, not looking at me but at the woods that surrounded the house.
"Dad, I can't just sit here. I have to do something."
"Jacob, be patient." He ব্যক্ত as he turned his head to the west and smiled slightly.
I was about to ask him what he was smirking at when I saw Sam Uley come walking out of the woods wearing nothing but a pair of cut off jeans. In his arms was a small bundle that I thought was wood until I saw the dark brown hair hanging over his arm.
"I've got her." Sam yelled as he walked towards the house.
Everything happened at once, people were running to help Sam who didn't seem burdened দ্বারা Bella at all. Others were running into the house, someone saying something about making চা while another asked where the blankets and pillows were. I heard a man yell to another that they needed to call for the doctor, and some yelled that Doc Cullen was gone along with the rest of his family...perfect timing.
Chapter 6
"He's gone?" I heard Charlie yell as he ran into the house, Bella's small body cradled in his arms. "Shhhh baby, I'm here."
I could hear Bella saying something, but she was saying it so quietly that I couldn't make it out. I stayed close to Charlie, wishing there was something I could do to make her feel better. Charlie had sat on the couch, Bella held tightly in his arms when she started to scream.
The sound bounced off of every surface in the room, causing every hair on my body to stand on end. When she ran out of breath for screaming she began whispering the word 'he's gone' over and over again.
It was one of the worst things I have ever seen, the elderly doctor checked her over, saying that she wasn't hurt but may be in shock. She ব্যক্ত the same thing over and over until she went still, finally falling asleep.
Charlie came around and thanked everyone for their help and asking everyone to leave so Bella could sleep. My father offered to stay, to help him in anyway he could but Charlie declined, saying that they just needed some time. I went into my room, throwing and kicking things out of my way. I wished that it could have been me that saved Bella, to be her hero..I knew it was stupid to be jealous, but I was. I wished there was something I could do, anything to make her happy again. The last thing I remember before I fell asleep was hearing Bella's screams অথবা her muttering 'he's gone.'
