#1: Listen to your heart, but also your mind. This is because your হৃদয় will tell আপনি who আপনি like and why, while your mind tells আপনি how the person আপনি are dating acts/behaves and how he treats you
#2 Get to know the person more. It doesn't hurt to let yourself know how the person you're dating acts and feels. Bottom line, don't rush a relationship because আপনি might regret it and it could cost your relationship
#3 Seek উপদেশ from বন্ধু (who are reliable) and people who are close to the person you're dating and the person's friends. This is a great resource to use if you're not sure about the person's background অথবা how they treat people and how they behave in general
#4 Get comfortable and don't feel under pressure. This is a big one. A lot of times, people do things that they don't feel comfortable about, just to impress অথবা get their crush's attention. Take it slow and take a deep breath. Start small and start talking to their বন্ধু and potentially the person themself. Then, আপনি can work your way up and do something that আপনি are still comfortable with, but just a bigger step.
