Ryan walked into Michael's office at the station to recieve his first assignment for the day. During this, he was still thinking about how to help the Santa Ne Railway get আরো engineers.

Michael: Good morning.
Ryan: Hi Michael. What's my job for today?
Michael: Your first assignment for the দিন is to drive a freight train into Cheyenne. The Union Pacific is making a shipment of leather to a company that makes jackets.
Ryan: Somewhere, a group of greasers are going to be very thrilled for us bringing that leather to the clothing company.
Michael: আপনি have four diesels on the train now. Get there, and drive at least 50 miles an hour, but be careful driving past the state border. The line there is being repaired.
Ryan: Got it.

Ryan did exactly what Michael told him to do. As he got into Cheyenne, he thought about how to solve the solution of the Santa Ne's lack of engineers.

Snowflake: We got a train coming in from the SP, get ready.
Ponies: *Waiting দ্বারা track*
Ryan: *Slowly drives train into the yard, and stops পরবর্তি to Snowflake's tower*
Stylo: Ryan, how are you?
Ryan: Good.

Ryan: Help. The Santa Ne Railway is short on engineers, and I told them I would help them out.

Jeff: Why me?

Ryan: That's right.
Jeff: I'm sorry. I'd like to help, but Pete has me busy fixing track.
Ryan: Then I'll go there myself.

When he returned to Ogden, Ryan talked to Michael about his plan.

Ryan: Jeff says that since 1955, the Northern Pacific has been abusing all of it's female employees.
Michael: And?
Ryan: We can rescue one of them, and have her work on the Santa Ne. She could be that engineer they need.
Michael: Alright. আপনি go there after আপনি finish your work, and I wish আপনি the best of luck.

OK, this really awesome story begins with Blazin' getting off the train to Ponyville with his belongings, many of them drawings he made and lots of drawing paper, pencils, and other art material (he's an artist, which explains the cutie mark of a pencil). He is rather shy and isn't talking to anyone. He sees Big Macintosh, who sees the new resident and helps him with his belongings as they walk towards the house he was offered দ্বারা Mayor Mare. He was rather tall, though....
