I wasn`t going to make a big deal about this but I`m extremely fed up. I am posting this here because it continues to happen on One বৃক্ষ পাহাড় related spots. I post a lot of things to Fanpop, especially images. Something that in my opinion is very important, is giving credit where it is due. If আপনি find something on the web and want to share it, then feel free to post it. However, it is extremely disrespectful to claim that আপনি created that content if আপনি didn`t অথবা simply not bother to credit.

Lately I`ve been coming across a lot of প্রতিমূর্তি of say a celebrity where the user who uploaded the picture, gives themselves credit. It is certainly possible that আপনি snapped that picture but when the ব্যক্ত ছবি is tagged, then it is not yours to claim. This is a perfect example of link. This user claims that they made that screencap but আপনি can clearly see Hilarie Burton`s website on the right hand corner. I wasn`t going to call anyone out but this needs to stop! I will প্রতিবেদন every single user who I see doing this. How hard is it to copy and paste a url? Putting that আপনি got something from "live journal" অথবা "somewhere on the internet" is not proper credit. Stop being lazy and give proper credit. Did আপনি know that if the creators of the things আপনি are claiming are yours want, they can take legal action? People spend a lot time creating the things we post so give them recognition!
