hahahaha, pretty good question!.. they are definetely in the present right now, and because that would make more sense, i guess they were 5 years in the past before the jump.... so they jumped from 2003 to 2008 in one year

The jump doesn`t make sense when it comes to the year. If 4 years passed then they should be in the year 2011 because S4 ended in 2007. I`m pretty sure they`re in the year 2008 like us so yea it doesn`t make sense.

well the characters age jumped like 4 years...but it's still 2008...it wasn't really meant to put them like in a future year, all mark did was skip past college.

i think its 2008, but i guess the yr they grad. high school is 2004, if they had done it each season 1 year, they would have graduated in '04-'05...hmm
