I feel like we've been back and forth with this storyline so many times.

Between:
-Victoria "taking" the company from Brooke in season 6, and Brooke not having an idea for what to fill the store with
-Her kind of being in her funk after her attack, and not really caring anymore about the company, and throwing all her clothes out of the store
-Her introducing the concept of "Baby Brooke", but it falling through and her losing that part of the company, too. And then the "new" company introducing a new mens line, which never really got further addressed
-And now her officially losing the company (supposedly, anyway)... I'm having a hard time really caring about this C/B storyline.

When we first heard about her losing the company this season, I couldn't help but think to myself: "Does she even still have that company anymore, anyway? I thought she already lost it a while ago. When was the last time we even saw her work there?" lol. Seriously either have Brooke keep the company, and it be successful, or have her lose it. But make a damn set decision already lol

I didn't feel attached to this storyline at all cause I found it boring and redundant, but I couldn't put my finger on the reason I found it boring. Thanks for helping me find it. It may be a new story, but it's been spawned from trash from the past :/

I'm now 2 weeks behind on season 8. I wanted to make an effort in watching OTH this season [seeing as how I missed most of last season] but I'm back to where I started: Not interested...

One tree hill now is one big fail..i used to be the biggest fan now i knew it was on and i didn't even bother to watch it..see how it is a fail. they just repeating every storyline...#ONEBIGFAIL..

fooooor sure. granted, it's never quite been to this extreme before. but still... definitely repetitive. it's hard to feel the "shock value" of the c/b storyline anymore, because it's all been done before on some level. i wouldn't be surprised if next thing we know, a miracle will happen and either c/b will be saved, or brooke will start another new company. the investors will probably be so greatful for brooke's helpful attitude that they'll want to invest in her again, and help her revive her company. lmao blah blah blah. but we really should be used to this by now. i mean what aspect of the show isn't repetitive this days... really?

i would LOVE it if we saw brooke actually take haley's advice, and focus on "life, and julian" for a little while. instead of this never ending business battle. but who knows.

I am so with kelly since really i am sick of C/B storyline cause we saw it to many times and honestly when i saw what happens , i mean Brooke loosing company didn't seem so important to me and then when i was listening to the song which was attached to the scene i realized that it should have supposed to be a sad scene but franquely for me it wasn't.At this moment i can say i care less if Brooke still has company or not.

It's DEFINITELY repetitive. But-- I think they are doing a better job with it this time around. I don't really care about Brooke losing Clothes over Bros because as Kellyerin87 said- we saw it happen in season 6 already, so its lost its shock value. However, the parts I find interesting is that 1-Brooke is losing her fortune, not just her company. So she can't just sit home and sulk about what's going on b/c both her and Julian don't have much money right now. Therefore, we need to see her go out and actually do something. Whether it's starting a new clothing line, making the costumes for a new movie, working as a home-ec teacher teaching sewing, teaching at a fashion institute... or something completely different that has nothing to do with fashion (I think she would be a great school guidance counselor). If they ignore this aspect I'll be pretty annoyed since Julian said in 8x01 how he has no money (or little money) and now Brooke is losing it as well. 2- I like what the storyline is doing to Brooke & Victoria's relationship. I like that Victoria lied to Brooke and is now blaming Brooke for everything going wrong. And I like that Brooke is struggling with defending herself while still feeling vulnerable to her mother's words. It is similar to season 5- but Brooke has a better support system now than in season 5 (a big part b/c of Julian) so she can be stronger against her mother. 3- I like the parallels between Brooke and Nathan's lives. I think BOTH Brooke and Nathan have had these story lines before. Nathan has lost basketball soooo many times over the past 8 seasons. Yes this time it's final... but every time was supposed to be final. But because they are connecting the two storylines, it makes it seem slightly different this time. At least I think so.

Of course it's a repetitive storyline...but I also think it's a lot more interesting than in season 6! I really had a hard time continuing to watch since Brooke only sat at home, feeling sorry for herself. Now she's got Julian and a lot of friends that are there to help her.

Of course it's similar but not so much...
We can say the same about Nathan's story with basketball
