He DID!!! the papers were official.. When Karen went to tell off Dan after Keith died.. she threw the adoption papers in his face that showed that He had adopted Lucas...

But, I love Keith and hate Dan.. But I want Lucas to be Nathan`s brother, and Dan is his real father, but Keith will always be a father to Lucas.. But for the show`s "future" I`m glad Lucas is still Dan`s son.. If he is??! :P

from what I can remember they papers had been filled out not filed..thats what karen was throwing at dan...they never got the chance to make it offical...offical or not though Keith will always be Lucas' father...regardless of how lucas feels about dan.

Maybe if it would have happened sooner (like when Lucas was young) I would have voted yes. But if he had adopted him right before he died I think it would have made it a lot worse for Lucas.
