2. Did you see their looks? It was heartbreaking, honestly now & im not the biggest fan of them, but i hated this chloe girl, I mean i can understand her a little but when you promise something so meaningful & even make a fu***** deal ... wow.
3. I was hoping to see NH together holding the baby & i'd have been okay with Jamie being there, but we had just like 3 scenes with them (Not counting the flashbacks)
4.Did Nathan forget what he saw the night before? Someone soon killed his son & one of his very good friends! I know they will show this the next episode, but you just don't foregt soemthing like that randomly & then it pops up again.
5. I was hoping we would see how Haley would be in their house & how someone would drive her to the hospital it could've been really funny actually!
6.They didn't show anything that was even a bit related to NH+the baby!
7.They always hide their feelings (eps.Brooke!!!) I know why she didn't say anything & thats why I love her, but you could see how broken she was.
sorry for the rant ...
And then the worst part was that the new parts of the episode went by so quickly. Awaiting Lydia's birth was the main focus of the episode, yet the moment she was born went by so quickly and then the episode was over. They were building it up to be an emotional episode with all the flashbacks, and we barely even saw the Scott family with their baby. And they could have focused a little more on Brulian and them not getting their baby (and it was just too obvious that the young guy would be the father of the baby they wanted to adopt).
Plus Jamie narrated the episode.... Jamie should not narrate the episodes. I don't mind Jamie as much as I used to, but it was still annoying hearing him narrate.
There were a few cute scenes (and emotional scenes) and some of the flashbacks were really sweet.... but in general, I was pretty disappointed with the episode.
No Nathan with the baby?!
Also some of the flashbacks were really pointless.
They could've used that time for new scenes.
-Dan and Nathan in the hospital, after Nathan took drugs? WTF? That one just totally lost me
-Brooke and Victoria? I get that they were focusing on the "mother/daughter" aspect, given that Brooke was potentially about to become a mom. But we all know what Victoria is like, that flashback was just completely unnecessary, and not to mention too long.
-Clay/Quinn hostpital flashback... don't even get me started. Perfect example of how Mark's priorities are WAY out of whack these days. These two have no business getting flashbacks, when they've only been around for 2 seasons. lol it just looks ridiculous
-Haley being a "badass"??? Really? Thanks for that, Mark. The only purpose that served was reminding me of why I don't like her lol. and Jamie's little comment "Wow, you don't want to mess with mom!" almost made me gag for some reason lol. So cheesy.
...Even the Naley flashbacks had me rolling my eyes. I was like "Really? Are we really going to re-live every Naley moment, right now?" I mean if you're a Naley fan, I'm sure those flashbacks were great. But for those of us who don't like Naley... MAN was it a snoozefest.
As always, Brooke and Julian were the only things getting me through this episode. They were amazing, Brooke was amazing, and their storyline was the only interesting one, IMO. Just not what I was expecting from this episode. Given the episode description, I was expecting, (and it could have been) SO much better.
I have nothing against the Brooke/Haley/Lydia scene, I think Brooke really needed that at the moment, but it's bullshit that we didn't get to see Naley with their new daughter.
Also, like jemgrl323 said, Jamie completely narrataed the episode. At first I kinda didn't mind, but after a while with all his "quotes" and all that stuff. Why does Naley episodes have to turn into Jamie epiodes all the time?
