no i completley disagree, i'm not a brucas fan and yeah lucas is a jackass but i don't think he's just go out with brooke for the hell of it, he does realize later on that at the time he has stronger feelings for peyton but i don't think he feels nothing at all for brooke

are you forgetting all of season 2?? where lucas was totally not into peyton and he was chasing after brooke? he could've had anna, and peyton who was all alone most of the season, but he went after brooke. i really think he feels strongly for her. she wasnt just a peyton back-up.

originally yes. but in s2/3 things got serious. by the end of s3/beginning of s4 luke was lying to himself. and if he hooks up with brooke ever again (let alone anyone else) he'll be lying to himself yet again and will have learned nothing!

luke didnt settle for peyton s4, peyton waited for luke to say him and brooke didnt love each other before she said she was inlove with him! and then he said he loved her back, he came back to her just to tell her he loved her too! - and luke clearly loves peyton!

so i would like to say to you - are you blind, deaf and dumb and not watched s1/s4/s5? - s1 he cleary went for brooke cause peyton walked away - s4/s5 he does love peyton - and you can prove that with the things he says and writes if only you guys pay attention to leyton more - maybe you would like them!

but anyway overall know i do think at first in season one yeh but then he went on that date with brooke and ignored peytons phone calls. and yeh in season 2 he didnt want peyton season 3 he didnt want peyton and for half of season 4 he didnt want peyton but then he realised he did

Laurra, sorry I think I got my point across wrongly - I am very aware that Lucas and Peyton did really love each other, and am not denying that - I really like Peyton and I was in a crappy mood when I commented earlier :( I meant thats the equivalent of the reaction of my question in my opinion -- slightly confusing :)

I completely disagree! Lucas was in love with Brooke in season 2,3,and the begining of season 4 maybe season 1 he loved peyton but he was deeply in love with brooke for a long time!!!!!!!!

Not at all. In season 1, Peyton closed herself to Lucas and he found Brooke INTRIGUING and DIFFERENT cause of all she was hiding behind the surface and so they started dating. He LOVED Brooke during season 2 and 3.
