While sitting in front of the telly with his legs crossed, Private stared straight ahead on the screen with a look of happiness on his face; He’s been so busy watching his favourite প্রদর্শনী about the Lunacorns until he heard a small, faint voice on the metal door just behind him. “Oh dear what was that noise?” the young পেংগুইন said. His curiosity became aroused so it was then he turned off the telly and proceeded to the door to examine it.
    While he stood there all alone, he just stared at the large door with the utmost mysterious, inexplicable eyes, contemplating its existence right in front of him. While in a mystified trance, he also heard a faint but subtle knock coming from the other side of the door. “Who, who’s there?” Private said, trembling for what could be behind it. Slowly approaching the handle with his flippers, he quickly retracted it for fear that it might grab hold of him and scare Private for life. Lifting his right foot slowly and taking a step even closer, he wanted to make sure he heard what he thought he heard, so he leaned in with his head and shoulders. While leaning on the door, he could see an emanating light coming from the other side.
    His nervous breathing was starting to wear on him, his flippers started to shake uncontrollably, and with his eyes focused on the flashes of light, all was quiet, except for the strong gushes of wind spinning around in their habitat and the beating of his heart. Then he heard it again, but this time it was louder, “Thump, thump...Thump, thump!” he was terrified of what might happen to him, but still he tried to face his fear, he was ready to fight it off. “It’s just a silly, willy little door, Skipper would be ashamed of me if he saw what I was being afraid of” muttered Private to himself. But the longer the পেংগুইন stood there, the আরো he felt it pulling him closer and closer to an irreversible fate...
