Chapter 8
Author’s Note: I decided to try something a little bit different. Anybody who has read my: “Just Admit it, OK?” story, well…this story will be A LITTLE related to the other. I decided to add myself into this story too, but I will be a new character…as in not known দ্বারা the penguins, unlike the other. Yes…this is Mico, the other is Skilene…but this will give a little bit আরো explanation on how Ash met the others. Another note is that Aurora is the name of Skipper’s mother, but it hasn’t been confirmed.
“RICO!” A voice yelled. The পেংগুইন looked up to see Dru looking down at him, a tear in her eye, and the other being clear as crystal. Dru smiled a little when she noticed that Rico had been OK. He gave her a questioning look.
“Look, not much time to explain right now, আপনি fainted because আপনি thought আপনি would get squashed, but ya didn’t! K? Now…LET’S GO!” Dru pulled him out of the street, his body tumbling roughly against the dirty streets. He began trying to brush the oil and dirt out of his feathers, but was unable. Dru gave him a disgusted look and snuck him into a small building.
“HUH?” Rico looked around, confused. He had no idea where he was located and there was not a single spark of light inside the room. He heard a hissing noise and immediately his body tensed up. He then felt Dru’s flippers brushing down his feathers and making hushed sounds at him.
“Be quiet, if we are found, we’re dead.” She whispered and clamped his beak shut, watching her surroundings. She had seen Richard go inside the building when Rico was unconscious, and then she saw him walk right back out. She thought he probably delivered something, which is what bubbled up her curiosity to try to find out what it was.
“Who’s there?” A low growl was heard. Then huffing and puffing sounds where made. A couple of items fell from shelves and such, tumbling objects filling the room. Rico felt some chills go down his back as soon as he felt some breathing on his neck. This was not Dru’s, but from the creature that protected anything প্রদত্ত to him দ্বারা Richard.
~Meanwhile~
The dull ফ্রোজেন landscape of Antarctica was peaceful and serene, not a single sound made দ্বারা any body and the snow, NO, ice, sitting still in the freezing continent. All was quiet. The sky painted drawings with the ice cold wind. All was boring until…I decided to tell আপনি that the penguins haven’t arrived yet XD Anyways…
“No, Aurora, আপনি can’t die. Not now. I need you! আপনি are the closest thing to I mother that I’ve had.” Ash whispered to Aurora, the mother of Skipper, Kowalski and Rico. (Ash is me :D) Aurora gave her a weak smile and shivered a little from the cold that was coming from the outside. She was sure glad that Kowalski built an underground fort before the three left. If it wasn’t for it, Aurora would of already ফ্রোজেন to death.
“I’m sorry. I can’t go on much longer. I will just wait for my boys. Then I will leave.” The wrinkled old পেংগুইন squawked from her bed, the voice fading away per word. Ash glared into the sky. She wished that they never arrived so she could live happily forever with her “mother”.
“But what if they don’t come in time?” Ash wondered, hoping that Aurora would be আরো reasonable with what she was saying. She hoped that she would find sense in her words and live.
“They will. I’m sure my Kowalski has some special mumbo jumbo to arrive sooner. I just can feel it in my heart.” Aurora rubbed her tired out flippers along her chest and her eyes full of faith filled with tears. She then turned to the ken doll that she saw at the edge of her bed. She had that doll to serve as her husband after the first one died.
“Huh, Kowalski.” Ash smirked evily. “That sounds like a nerd’s name.” She was glad about one আরো thing. She was going to have some nerdy creep to tease everyday. Maybe Aurora’s death wouldn’t affect her as badly as she thought.
~Meanwhile~
The penguins had parked their car at the dock where the ships would ক্রুশ over to the statue of liberty. Kowalski looked into his notepad 100% confused and having no idea on what to do. They couldn’t just take a ship to Antarctica…it wasn’t right anymore. Plus they didn’t সরানো as fast as they used to.
“Kowalski, have আপনি not come up with options yet? It’s been 10 minutes…and counting!” Skipper looked at the new watch that he had gotten for his birthday from Private. He liked it so much and he decided that he would probably keep it around for a long time.
“I’m trying Skipper it’s just that…” Suddenly, his thoughts blurred out. All he saw was the peaceful face of his mother resting her head on someone’s lap, who he didn’t recognize of course. The priced elder hummed hymns and whispered every once in a while. Kowalski stared blankly.
“SNAP OUT OF IT!” Skipper slapped him. The slap brought sudden shock to Kowalski and he shook his head quickly. He blinked about 2 times and then he grinned satisfactorily.
“I’VE GOT IT!” Kowalski looked through his backpack and pulled out a couple of machines. “If I combine this with this, and that with that,” Kowalski said, not trying to explain at all, “Then it should get us to Antarctica in about the blink of an eye!”
“Excelente.” Skipper confirmed.
Author’s note: Personally…I LOVED IT! I know, I’m so smarticle XD Thank you, thank আপনি everyone XD Sorry it took me long to update, I’ve been busy lately. Oh well…HERE IT IS! PLEASE REVIEW! আপনি know what they say…well…I say XD The আরো আপনি review…the faster me shall update! :p So…update! I COMMAND YOU! Nah, just kidding. So I've come to announce that your annual fee of "borrowing money" is about 2 million dollars. Oh yes, I almost forgot about Kowalski's latest attempts to attract Doris... again, which is another 2000 dollars. Anyhow, try to be normal penguins for once and return the fees of money.
