Johto was and still is the best, i`m in love with the version gold, silver and crystal i want them to make a remake of the Johto version

I think Hoenn is the best region for traveling in as far as the area is concerned it is a very wide landmass with some awesome distinctions. Sandstorms, Volcanic Ash, Ocean Currents, Waterfalls, Underwater Caves and Trenches, Secret Bases, you name it they have it all. Not to mention some very good Pokemon.

Kanto is a little boring with the short distances between cities and long tedious caves but overall a pretty cool region with good Pokemon.
Johto is pretty cool but way too small which is probably why Kanto is a part of G/S/C. Not to mention some very weak Pokemon(too many baby Pokemon), and a sad time for the anime.
Sinnoh is pretty cool too it's just that Mt. Coronet is a little too big(or maybe not). At this point, your Pokemon can reach their full potential in the games.

I picked Sinnoh because it keeps Ash poke-team balanced. Kanto: Pikachu (weak), Pidgeot (why at the last moments), Bulbasaur (disgraceful, should've evolved into Ivysaur), Charizard (the only strong pokemon), Squirtle (ah, good!! NOT!!!!!!!!). Johto: EPIC FAILURE, look at his team it's all messed up only Bayleef is evolved with ASh (Noctowl already evolved in the wild) Hoenn: Damn weird Pokemon. Only worth for Sceptile and Swellow, Corpish should've been a Crawdaunt. Sinnoh: The finest region, with Pikachu, Staraptor, Grotle (please be a Torterra), Monferno (woot, finally a good Fire-type other than Charizard), Buizel (Just grow into Floatzel already), and Gliscor (wow, an epic baby pokemon joining Ash for real) = Lapras=released, Donphan=weak (not that much), etc.

I grew up on Kanto. it's not that I don't like the others it's just that I'm closer to this one

i was late to the pokemon world (since the 1st game came out a year before i was even here) & i was only 5 when crystal came out so R/S/E were my first games plus it has the best gym leaders the best champion and best pokemon ^_^

I love Ruby,Sapphire and Emerald.Personally I think that Kanto how got slightly boring as it has been in Generations 1-4.

Sinnoh, because I never really grew up with Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. I may have gotten introduced to the Pokemon universe when Kanto was still going, but because of one really scary episode when I was younger, I didn't watch the rest of the original generation which featured the Kanto region and Johto region and I didn't watch the whole advanced generation which featured the Hoenn region. I started watching Pokemon again with the 13th season which featured the Sinnoh region. I guess because of getting scared from an episode that was from the first season and not having anything to do with Pokemon for years that is the reason why I love the Sinnoh region.

I like and enjoy all of the regions in Pokemon, in my case :)

The first Pokemon game I played was SoulSilver (late starter I know, but gimme a break, I was barely eight years old when I got my first DS and then SoulSilver came out a month or so after that) which is and always will be my favourite, because of two things:
My amazing Typhlosion
and Johto.

Hoenn is my first region i was in also i like a lot of the pokemon
