Yes it has..I've been trying to beat Akane/Whitney in Soul Silver for so long,I lost track of times I tried to defeat her,between her Miltank and it's Attract and Rollout with the Hyper Potions it's been making it so tough for me,,and no dice for me..so yes,even though,so yeah..but It's been more like 70 times literally,because I got in 2011 or so,so it has to be around 70 times..and for the level it may be high but many times my Alligates/Croconaw just doesn't listen to me. because I need that badge for I think level 30 and up to listen to me. and I don't have have it..and it literally is up,so yes it's happened to me.

Pokémon Pearl. First time playing, I take the Fire starter. Big fucking mistake. Had to level up my other Pokémon to make up for it. The Veilstone and Hearthome city gym leaders were also pains in my ass. Thank god for wild Pokémon.

All this just to get my 1st loss to Roark.
