How are Rainbows Gay?

The bigger প্রশ্ন here would be "Why is gay such an insult?".

A রামধনু is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines onto droplets of moisture in the Earth's atmosphere. They take the form of a multicoloured arc, with red on the outer part of the arc and বেগুনী on the inner section of the arc.

A রামধনু spans a continuous spectrum of colours; the distinct bands are an artifact of human colour vision. The most commonly cited and remembered sequence, in English, is Newton's sevenfold red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and বেগুনী (popularly memorized দ্বারা mnemonics like Roy G. Biv). Rainbows can be caused দ্বারা other forms of water than rain, including mist, spray, and dew.

I'm guessing that since the word "gay" used to be used as "happy", and rainbows are usually associated with happy things, it somehow morphed into the symbol for homosexuals. But it shouldn't be an insult, because
A) rainbows are incredible
and
b) gay people are too.

I have no idea, "Every রামধনু I've seen in the world looks beautiful"!!! It could be a code অথবা symbol that the gay community picked up to প্রদর্শনী themselves!! But again I have no idea!!!

Well in biblical sense, the রামধনু stood for the promise from God to never flood the Earth again.

How it became a symbol for gay pride today, I never figured out. Maybe because the রঙ in the রামধনু are united, together across the sky, is why it was chosen. At least that's what I think so far.

probably because a male that wears anything with too much রঙ (rainbows etc..), they are considered to be "gay" (not in my opinion). So now some people say rainbows are gay..mostly guys..

Maybe, being too colorful is gay, because the gay pride flag is colofull.

Here in my country, if আপনি are a "colored guy/girl" আপনি are gay and mindless. This just started because of a band called Restart, which dress a lots of রঙ togheter... Here's a pic of them. In my opinion they are ridiculous not gay.
