To me, true প্রণয় has to be unconditional; আপনি don't need anything in return but the প্রণয় of your loved one. I don't mean the 'happily-ever-after kind of প্রণয় because, let's face it, something like that doesn't really exist. That, and being able to trust somebody fully. That's প্রণয় to me (:
