Whats your style for icons?

I প্রণয় doing প্রতীকী where I desaturate everything except the hair and eyes and then give those some cool effects দ্বারা messing with the contrast অথবা doing some stuff with the engrave tool.

Here is one of the ones I'm আরো proud of.

It seems like everything I make অথবা use is either

A. Feminine as fuck
B. Derpy and stupid
C. Dramatic

I guess my "style" অথবা "method" is just that I apply my pre-existing art and photo-manipulation knowledge whether I mean to অথবা not. Sometimes I learn knew things.
In general I try to evoke a certain feeling and what exactly I'm trying to do depends on the icon.

I'm particularly focused on composition, colour, and lighting, I think. Probably mostly composition. Since প্রতীকী are a bit limited in how much আপনি can control the picture- unless আপনি want to do a full on photoshop job with it which is a lot of work for an icon- I think it's most effective to focus on how the image sits in the frame.

The first one I cropped/coloured actually literally only a few hours ago, the সেকেন্ড one I literally just cropped because it was so ridiculous on it's own, and the last one I played around a lot with the values and light উৎস that were already there. (it was originally a 100x100 size but I blew it up since the others were 200x200. The one in the corner is the actual size.)

Maybe dark romantic?? I don't know honestly হাঃ হাঃ হাঃ xD

Many would come to mind but the ones I can think of right now are:

1.Personality/mood defining প্রতীকী
2.Vibrant প্রতীকী (Like that lily vocaloid প্রতীকী a while back)
3.Badass character (Like the one I have now
4. অথবা insert পছন্দ character face as a প্রতীকী (Regardless of what fandom it is)

Well, it really varies. I wouldn't say that I follow a specific pattern. There are various factors for choosing প্রতীকী like my mood at the time, need to প্রদর্শনী প্রণয় towards a particular Character / subject অথবা my relatability. While I প্রদর্শনী faces most of the time, I haven't been making them being that close even though lately, I am considering it আরো XD I just like having a আরো detailed displaying of the Character for others to see. Kinda hard to explain but pretty much, I am going to choose whatever appeals aesthetically to me. আপনি know, like certain color combinations, cheerful smiles অথবা the exact opposite XD Whatever can give me that much of a dynamic vibe at the time to the point of actually making it my Icon.

I guess, if I had to mention one preference of mine, that would be my displaying of Waifus XD I'm pretty sure most have realized that the majority of my প্রতীকী is comprised দ্বারা them. Certainly, I have just as many Male Characters that I consider my পছন্দ but it just so happens that Females have taken the lead for now !!!!
