I was a bit confused about everyone making a huge deal of it, too. It's an awful song, but it's not as important as people make it out to be. :/

My first thought was, "What the hell is wrong with her voice?"

Probably my second,...my first,was..."Ke$ha...sounds like a teenage Kesha...except I like Kesha...just not Rebecca Black's "Friday"...or the Kidz Bop crew! (Nigahiga reference FTW)

I didn't think it was at first, to be honest.

I thought it was some kind of parody or song made to mock "teenage pop" (Justin Bieber, ex Miley Cyrus etc).

I was wondering who the hell she was.

This is actually exactly what I thought. I heard about it, so I thought that Rebecca Black must be this really cool artist. So then I found the video and I thought "Ahh, so it's a pisstake" *nods head*. x)

I was very confuzzled, though.
