Ok,we know আপনি want to skip the mumbo jumbo and get straight to the information,WE CAN DO THAT!!!

Gary-stu=unfairly powerful unbeatable cheater

A gary-stu is
1.Too powerful,almost/is godly
2.Always wins,unfair.
3.Never suffers hardships a true warrior would face
4.A basic DBZ rip-off right of the bat
5.Too attractive/Too sexy(As pointed out দ্বারা takthefox)

The gist is to balance out your characters powers and skills,If আপনি make him/her a powerhouse,Give him/her a obvious weak spot/poor defenses.If আপনি make him/her a living shield,Weaken there powers.yin and yang.as for "Getting there way",Sometimes its wise to throw a plot hole(E.G.:The character gets killed,the character looses there powers,the character gets horribly wounded,Ect.)Be fair.

Mary-sue=ANNOYING DAMSEL IN DISTRESS!!!

A mary-sue is
1."OH SAVE MEEE!!!HELP!!!"
2.Every feminists worst nightmare.XD
3.Has no backbone what so ever
4.Just...UGH, ABOMINABLE!

Basically a annoying female character that is constantly captured and relies on her "Man" to save them(E.G.:Amy rose,princess peach,kairi,ect.),This basically sets women's equal rights movement back a hundred years.

Syke the Hedgehog

Syke the Hedgehog, a hedgehog born in the City of Sand. He is a child born in harsh situations. But with his great sand techniques, he was able to defend the city. He was sent to the Andromedian Pyrokinetic Academy along with 14 other people from many different country. They joined in that academy for the first time then. Syke was assigned to a dormitory with Skye, Jack and Amethyst. Syke did well in the academy. he followed the lessons seriously (unlike Nico who's pranking always upset the teacher). Syke did well, until the final test. The field is scarce on sand which caused him to lose against Joey. The night after the battle, Syke rested on his বিছানা unaware of the black hole approaching. When the alarm was triggered, he got off his বিছানা and onto the assembly area. He was led to a black room almost the same as the one in the dorm. He was then launched to outer space, leaving him only the doom of his planet.
