Happy belated Newtonmis, everyone! And, I'm Jewish so I don't know, but what is the deal with the birthdays? Who was born when? Is what Sheldon ব্যক্ত true?

If I recall, Sheldon claimed that যীশু was born in the summer. I've heard that he was born at several different times, depending on the source-- some say he was born in the spring, others say autumn.

According to link, which uses Biblical clues, "the most probable time for His birth occurred between September 16 and 29."

Tragically, Sheldon was wrong about Newton, who (as verified দ্বারা link), was born on January 4th, 1643.

Keep in mind that it wasn't Sheldon, necessarily, who was wrong-- it was the writers of the show.

Yes, যীশু was born sometime in September, based on very educated guesses.

As for the Newton thing, remember that they had a calender that was different from ours back then-I think it was ten অথবা eleven days behind ours-so that would put Newton's birth-in the old calender-about বড়দিন day-on the new calender.

In fact, as someone has already stated, the calendars did used to be different, and some people do still celebrate বড়দিন in January, in Eastern Christianity, Jesus' birth was generally celebrated on January 6/7 (late at night on January 6) as part of the feast of Epiphany. I believe some Orthodox Christian branches hold the তারিখ of January 4th as Christmas, though these celebrations where all originally from Pagan ceremonies. I am a Christian myself, but choose not to celebrate বড়দিন because there is so much confusion as to whether it should be celebrated at all, and if so when. A lot of the same reasons Sheldon gives for not celebrating it too :P

The দিন of Jesus' birth is not accurately defined, but we know it was not in Dec. 25th. (As Sheldon said, it was only changed to meet the pagan holiday of "Sol Invictus"). Newton was born in January 4th (Gregorian Calendar) and as Sheldon said, in Dec. 25th Julian Calendar.
