I'm not trying to be mean but what is the big deal about this series?

Well, it's a mix of all the পছন্দ book types of many teens: History, Romance, Sci Fi, Suspense, and it's a somewhat funny/sarcastic book.
They're so obsessed because it's an awesome series to them, and many others agree. One person reads, then suggests to another friend, and it spreads like wildfire. It has great characters, a well built plot, and আপনি get a look into the 'creating' of the 'Hunger Games'. That is part of what makes a good book. A great plot, awesome characters, and a look into the past, so আপনি can understand the character's more.
And yes, something DOES happen in Mockingjay, not saying what though.

আপনি don't have to like it, I mean, everyone has a different opinion.

Why do আপনি think that nothing happened??? the whole series is action, adventure, romance, future reference, sci-fi, it's the who sha-bang. But, everyone likes different genres, so if it's not for আপনি then oh well, it's your opinion

The book has a little bit of everything so it appeals to people bec it has what they like.
But in my opinion the main reason they're so জনপ্রিয় is because unlike so many book before the kids are the ones in the situation. The children have to demonstrate courage and he emotional stress they undergo while in the arena অথবা at war due to the fact they're fighting to stay alive. So if the adults were simply the ones fighting I don't think it would be a's amazing because the characters are our age অথবা around it are making life changing decision and it just demonstrates the power we can all have.

I think the ending was the best part of the series. I loved it!
