Montague Summers was a 19th century British clergyman and writer. Most of his বই were nonfiction works about witches and vampires.
The quote in "Twilight" is taken from the introduction to the book "The Vampire:His Kith And Kin". A volume that covers vampire legends from around the world. Along with familiar Europeon ভ্যাম্পায়ার that most are familiar with the book also covers vampire legends from Africa, Asia and other parts of the world.
This an excellent work about vampire legends that is worth seeking out.

To Know Her
She is who I see and all that I see.
Every মিনিট with her is a মিনিট to know her.
What does she like? What makes her angry?
What makes her laugh like no other?
I watch her সরানো and learn her moods.
Her needs, I read like a book unbound.
I study her eyes as they speak to me
When words aren’t enough, when they can’t be found.
Her joy is mine, her emotions সরানো me.
To be what she wants is no arduous task.
To protect her and know her – that’s what I do
So I find it amusing when she would ask:
“How is it that আপনি know me so well?
Sometimes it seems আপনি can read my mind.”
“Nah,” I smile. “I just pay attention.”
I become what she wants and needs, দ্বারা design.
